Description:
Long story short I am modding a new run through and I noticed that there is not much going on around Jacobstown and a couple of things that seemed off. As with Novac I wanted to address what I think is some missing polish in a vanilla plus way while encouraging exploration and a bit of imagination particularly in the rear wilderness of the Jacobstown Lodge. The idea being on any run through you might see some of the mod, but not feel like you have to find every last thing or some super or expensive weapon.

Game details I addressed included:
1. The bunch of Supermutants shuffling around doing nothing outside the Jacobstown Lodge near the pond.
2. Bighorner trading with the wasteland through Calamity.
3. Nightstalker attacks on the Bighorners.
4. Adding more immersion to the forest outside the wall around the sides and rear of Jacobstown.
5. Exterior visual signs of 200 years of Jacobstown history, particularly straight after the bombs dropped and after the Supermutants arrived.
6. Post-War Audio Log - Attempted, but my scripting wasn't quite up to it yet. *Note* - If I ever do it, it will be standalone and non-linear mod, each run through would 'suggest' a different outcome. I like the idea of never quite knowing what really happened.
7. Extra snow and Jacobstown Pond Fix - User request additions - Snow was a bit sparse in areas such as the carpark and the fix saves an esp slot.

What you won't find is any new interiors, lodge interior changes, expensive items, large navmesh changes or edits to the bungalows. I think a .357 magnum
is the best item I added if you can even find it.

I will list all the changes and lore reasoning in the docs readme if you are interested, but if you run the mod and can't tell without using the console then I've done my job I guess.

File versions:
Main file - This is the initial release with no extra snow or addition of water in the pond.
Snow and Pond  - Main file plus more snow on the ground and roof of the Jacobstown Lodge as well as the Jacobstown Pond Fix to save you an esp slot.
Pond - Main file plus it Incorporates the Jacobstown Pond Fix to save you an esp slot.

Installation:
- FNV and DLC
- Choose one of either the main file or an optional file
- New game recommended, particularly if you have cleared Jacobstown.
- Install with your favourite Mod Manager.

Load Order:
- If you are having issues with the pond not showing then make sure the mod is at or near the bottom of your load order near your weather mods depending on your mod list.

Compatibility:
Jacobstown Pond Fix - Tested with and incorporated in optional files.
The Living Desert - Tested with.

Please let me know if something isn't compatible. That doesn't mean I will make it compatible, noting it is targeted at vanilla plus mod lists primarily.

Please let me know any compatibility issues with other mods, I don't think there are hell of a lot that edit Jacobstown though. Also if you have any
suggestions happy to hear and consider to improve the mod in line with the original intent of lore friendly vanilla plus.

My caveats are that I'd need a compelling reason to include any new NPCs, VA, interiors or exterior buildings; however, I'm very open to internal lodge
tweaks although I consider it to be quite well 'cluttered' in the vanilla state. I was surprised the Jacobstown Lodge isn't included in Windows of the Mojave for instance.

Recommended Mods:
The following mods were tested with this mod and will probably enhance your experience in Jacobstown and game.

- The Living Desert
- Jacobstown Pond Fix - If not using the optional files.
- Hollow Tree Loot - I personally will play with the hollow logs version.

Please have a play before hand and see if it is good for your mod list and load order. If a more credentialed mod author states something in the

Future:
I am 80% through a Novac Refined mod which is another vanilla plus mod with some interiors. If MSO isn't updated I will take a look at 188 Trading Post and
Aerotech Park after my next run through.
