What is this?
This mod is a plugin replacer for the well known Brotherhood of Steel Reforged mod by dragbody. While all his NPC overhauls are of unparalelled quality, the .esp plugins that are included in these mods are often cluttered with unnecessary stuff, balance changes to armor rating or NPC stats or even world edits that may conflict with other mods. And they're also few years old and not patched with YUP changes.
If all you want from these mods are visual changes for NPCs and nothing else, you may find this mod suitable.
What I did was:
1. Forwarded Yukichigai Unofficial Patch changes.
2. Removed world edits and the container with new armors.
3. Removed armors that are not used by the overhauled NPCs (like the ported Fallout 4 Maxson's armor).
4. Fixed a bug with Hardin's eyes.
5. New armors added by this mod (for example the medical suit that Schuler wears) now have the non-playable flag, so they only exists for the overhauled NPCs to wear, you can't loot them from their bodies. Also made their stats fit the vanilla armors so that they don't alter the vanilla NPC damage resistance.
6. Restored Brotherhood Elder Robe weight and damage resistance to vanilla values.
7. NPC eyes and hair no longer give them any damage resistance (lol).
8. New races that the overhauled NPCs use will no longer show in your character creation menu (and crash your game when you try to select them).
INSTALLATION:
1. Download and install the original mod by dragbody. It's hosted on the GUNetwork forum, you won't find it on nexus as dragbody never published his NPC Overhauls here.
2. Install my mod and let it overwrite the original .esp from dragbody's mod.
