Tired of weapons' generic names? Want a more authentic historical experience? Need to annoy people with names they can't even spell? Come check this one out for your geeky and nerdy needs.

DESCRIPTION

This mod aims to rename a portion of New Vegas's firearms from the base game to their real world version. Not every ballistic weapon is included as the script for NVSE itself is buggy as hell.
Vanilla weapons are renamed accordingly if the model matches at least 80%, unique variants renamed only if they have an annoying suffix (i.e. Weathered 10mm pistol). Fallout-specific weapons are renamed to their accurate name from the game lore.
By default firearms received a 20+ damage bonus, with shotguns up to 200 to balance out the shitty damage calculation system. While this will give you an edge over enemies, they will also have the increased firepower to put you down in less than 3 shots. Everything is fair game.

Q&A:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q:  Why don't you put all of them in a single file? It's more economic.
A: I did, and the game refused to load the names and buff. It just doesn't work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Why only some and not all?
A: As for now, I have to determine which weapons can be put together and not fight each other like angry siblings. It will take a while.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: What with the Nagatoro screenshots you keep using on your mod page?
A: Why the hell not?
