This mods so damn funny. Was playing Old world blues for the first time and it really managed to top off the already wild wasteland trip that was that DLC
Coming back to NV and would love for this mod to work but it wont. Downloaded everything fresh today so latest version of everything. Start new game, head up the Goodsprings Graveyard and pick up the cigarette butts and snow globe, no animation. It is likely a conflict, though I haven't installed any other animation mods. Could custom races from FCO cause an issue?
I don't get it either, I only have his and xilandros interactions and inject mods. The only other animation mod I have is Enhacned Movement. idk what to do
So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I have the Framework and everything up to date, but when I download the file and install it using MO2, a significant number of ini files are missing--only the dogtags, brains, heads, and ears get installed, and from the description there should be a lot more.
Not as much of a workaround as I just reinstalled Hit B42 - Interact, and that got it working. Though, some animations will not play at the start of a new game, I have to save and quit, and then boot the game back up to get all of them working.
Is there a way to make the interactions happen every time? Like for instance once you pick up one blue star bottle cap, you never see the animation again though I love the animations
I felt the same way so I dug around the file structure a little bit and figured it out. There's no setting that you can flip, it runs based on the name of a folder preceding the animation. But because of this you can easily just change the name of the folder, and it will run the animation every time. You can find it here:
Hit - B42 Interact Animation Pack\Meshes\B42Interact\EdID\NVStarBottleCap\Add\Once\ Change "Once" folder to "Dflt" and the animation will trigger every time.
the -Sunset Star Bottlecap- animation is only displayed on the first Bottlecap. no animation is displayed for all further -Sunset Star Bottlecaps-. Is this the way it should be?
I'm actually of the opinion that it'd be cool to at least have a toggle to see it every time, I sometimes miss collecting the things so having this "Oh cool, you found a star bottlecap!" reminder would be neat.

Here's a fix if you want to keep getting the Sunset Star Cap animations - Go to "Data\Meshes\B42Interact\EdID\NVStarBottleCap\Add\Once" and change the folder name "once" to "Dflt".

There you should find a folder that is named "Once". Rename that folder to "Dflt". Now the animation plays everytime you pick up a star bottle cap.
