Before I answer why, I'd like to first mention my intention of this message: this message is to simply answer your question. Nothing I say is out of rudeness, judgement, to be snarky, or the like. I am simply answering your question.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas have references to God and the Bible throughout the game and even in the game files, such as the main program that almost all modders use to mod Fallout New Vegas, which is called the GECK - Garden of Eden Creation Kit, which is a reference to the beginning of creation.
The opening lines of Fallout 3 mention Catherine's favorite passage of the Bible, which is Revelation 21:6. (Catherine is the player's mother.)
Joshua Graham makes countless references to God and the Bible (though he's a Mormon.) In fact, every word in this video is directly spoken by Joshua Graham in Fallout New Vegas; none of the words in this video is A.I. generated or filled in. It is just curated dialogue from the game.
Project Purity is the ultimate story plot of Fallout 3. The final quest of Fallout 3 is Take it Back!, and the Bible is quite literally the answer to the ending of the game.
Why did I add the Bible? Why did I create it in the game?
Because it is lore friendly, but infinitely more importantly than that is because I believe every word written in it. The Bible more than fits into the vision of my collections. I lost my mother about a year before I began curating my collections, and shortly after her death I picked up the Bible for the first time in my life and I started reading it. I have now read every word of it, and it has completely changed my entire life. The collection you are playing, nor any of my other collections, would exist had I never began reading this book, which is more precious to me than gold, it is more precious to me than the food I eat, and it is more precious to me than the air I breathe.
i just saw this in the mod pack and amen brother... amen... never cast aside the word of god, and follow Christ. i accept Christ my self and never will give him up, i agree with all you said... it is more precocious then the air we breath
Cool mod, wasn't expecting it in my collection I downloaded, but why split it into 4 containers?
Also I got to say this, you missed a golden opportunity. Joshua Graham literally hands you a book of scripture at the end of Honest Hearts after quoting psalms to you several times throughout. Could have thrown Psalms in there with the book or in a separate container.
Ngl I was looking for a readable honest hearts scripture mod, which I found but this is some dedication especially since its the ENTIRE thing, must of been a pain in the ass to put this in but good job, Joshua and Daniel would be proud
Ironic how people seething over this mod for (apparently) forcing one's beliefs on others probably endorse those that replace faction flags with rainbows...
