This mod is really well done suits the game theme and didn't enoutered any isues with it. But I think it needs some hindrance like no matter how difficult to open is the lock you always do this the same way. Not sure if JIP would allow for this but maybe adding some timer to enter the correct code before it resets and reconfigure intseflf would do the trick?
Perhaps to make the guessing a little more easier (practical for gameplay) you could somehow make the light turn green when a corresponding digit is guessed correct. I.E. if the code was "9999" and the player guessed "1119" the 4th light would turn green so the player would know that they should keep using a "9" as the 4th digit of the code and then solve using process of elimination for the rest of the digits.
Really like the concept of this mod, but for me at least it takes the game a minute to load(with a chance to crash if I do anything while its trying to load) when interaction with a safe but I believe its my game so I'm not blaming the mod for that. 9.9/10 mod, it just doesn't like my load order I guess lol
The only thing keeping me from downloading and using this mod right away (as it is a wonderful idea) is the fact it's tee-totaly random. If you could find code slips or whatnot that allowed for unlocking them somewhere like bioshock or the "every chest has a key" mod from skyrim, but that would involve stupid amounts of work to implement and not conflict with location edits.
Would be cool if a string of numbers appeared on screen to based on what numbers are used as the pass code and lockpicking or hacking skill would make the pool smaller, thus making it easier to guess the code. Just an idea.

Otherwise, this is fuckin' great.
If I have more time I might add some notes around the safes to get the code.
