    OK some people are confused what in the Emperor's name is this "First Shot Precision", so here's a quick explanation video
    Insane precision here is only for preview reasons. Actual mod makes you 85% more precise, but not 100.

    Partial mod rewrite with good dozen of fixes. General cleanup. And, with new ShowOff, fancy spread is as safe as it will ever be. It's as good as if it was per ref.
    Added config file, where you can change the key or position of the icon on screen.

    Alternative version that only adds Selective Fire is also available, in case you want to use Dynamic Weapon Spread

    Requirements for the mod bumped to latest versions of xNVSE, JIP, and ShowOff.

    Absolutely love the mod, much better than JIP's, as it handles modded weapons too. but I have just one request, can you make a version that uses a 3 round icon for full auto, and a 2 round icon for burst. With darn UI, the 4 round icon just ever so slightly overlaps the ammo count, a nitpick i know, but I am just wondering if you would be generous enough to accommodate my request. Regardless, Ty for the mod.

      I'm in the process of rewriting this mod from scratch, and I'll add an option to change size of the icons instead.

      Oh thank you that's great, will it have a MCM configuration as well to change the key bind (I know I can do it, and have, in the ini), or would that require it to have an esp?

      Understandable, Ive also learned how to use GIMP and made the edits to the icons myself for the time being, at least until you release your new version. A final question to ask if I may, any plans to make a mod like JIP's Realistic Weapon-overheating for b42? It is the last JIP mod that I haven't found an ESP-less alternative for, and I know you would make an awesome version. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my previous comments, Much appreciated.

      Hit and I made one new mod, and after quite a lot of testing, we figured out it would fit perfectly into FireMode, because a good portion of code is rather similar, AND it would fit into FireMode thematically. But it required some significant changes to this mod. So there, rewrite.

      Hey while you're at it, can you add the ability to whitelist weapons to specific firemodes via MCM? Like, make the marksman's carbine burst or full auto? And also the ability to exclude the accuracy/durability bonus to specific weapons too? Please pretty please? <3

      weapons that are single-fire in vanilla - will never be full auto via this mod. There are some specific technical and balance limitations that can, but should not be addressed by script mods. You want full auto Marksman Carbine/All-American/Service Rifle? Create new weapon record in GECK.

    Is there a way to change the hotkey for selective fire? I want to map to D-Pad down, but there's no mcm menu in game

    Sorry for the dumb question but is this mod like a successor to JIP Selective fire? I like the other mod but i'm curious about this mod. I like it has controller support like the other mod and am just curious if this mod is as compatable with other mod added weapons like the other mod is? Sorry if I wasted your time with this but thank you for your mods they're amazing.

      From my testing its even more compatible than JIP's, or at least for me it added select fire to weapons that JIP didn't for me

    Is there any chance that the ability to remap the relevant controller key could also be added to the config file? As far as I can see, it only has the option to change the keyboard key (sorry if I'm wrong!).

      For that you have to go into xEdit and chance the weapon in there, essentially converting it to full-auto, then using this mod to make it select-fire.

    it seems like the icon dosent respect the hud opacity setting, is there any way to fix this?

    Please dont be mean, im not smart.
    I cant seem to get this to work. I downloaded and updated all the mods, then i intalled this one, enable it, but it doesnt show up in the plugin's tab. I load the game and nothing seems to have changed. Can someone be nice and tell me what im doing wrong? I also coulnt get the lean mod to work

      But no serious man everyone as issues with modding, it doesn't make you dumb, it takes a hot minute. even then one little mod can make your whole playthrough fall apart.

      Just don't beat yourself up over it so much.
