Thank you for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the mod.
VERSION 2.00
In this version I was able to successfully patch this mod "Immersive McCarran Strip Monorail Travel" and "Camp McCarran Animated Monorail". This is a standalone version and does not depend on the "Camp McCarran Animated Monorail" mod.
If you have the "Camp McCarran Animated Monorail", uninstall it and install this mod instead. Apart from patching both mods, this version fixes some bugs of both mods and also has some improvements.
Users who kindly created TTW translations and patches for the initial release will need to update their patches. This is a substantial update due to the fact that it combines two mods.
For most mods that adds new meshes, testures or sound, you need to install Archive Invalidation. Is a feature you can download here in nexus. But if you use New Vegas Mod Manager, just activate Archive Invalidation.
I'm also having this bug. I tried with my normal mods, checked FNVEdit no conflicts, archive invalidation, no 3rd person, etc. I also tried with zero other mods and same issue.
People, I deleted the mod from my PC, downloaded the mod from nexus reinstalled it manually(as I always do for any mod). The mod works fine. And is actually the only mod I have installed right now.
Try to install the mod manually. The path should be: Program Files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas/data/
Alright I narrowed it down to Animated Player Interactions (with the script version, there was a left over script which is why that was still working when I disabled all of my mods) specifically when "Plays animation when interacting with doors" is enabled. Adding NVMonorailDoorStrip to "API.txt" (or "API - Ignore.txt") allows this mod to work properly. Thank you Amaccurzer0 for all of the awesome mods you've put out over the years!
Hi! I tried reaching you through PMs but it seems like you disabled them.
I spoke with Woooombat (Enhanced Movement's author) about his mod breaking yours, and he came up with a very simple fix involving node renaming on your animation files. I fixed it for myself but can't upload it without your permission. Is it ok if I release a patch? and if not, maybe you'd like to upload it yourself so people can actually enjoy both mods at the same time?
Hey, I tried following Woooombat's instructions for the fix in the replies of your post in the Enhanced Movement page. But I'm having trouble finding where "Bip01 NonAccum" is in the meshes of Immersive McCarran Strip Monorail Travel. So, I'd like to ask: Which files did you modify? Thanks!
Both the zeppelins from the animated Mojave mod disappear when the monorail goes past the reappear after the monorail animation is done, idk why, its immersion breaking.
DAYUM those trains are hella busy! I see them going back and forth like every 5 minutes it seems! Maybe decrease their activity? Just a tad. Or add Mod Menu Configuration file so we can adjust it ourselves?
EDIT: I been watching the train bridge from afar. I see the train go from Camp McCarran to the Strip, then less than 15 seconds later it leaves the Strip back to McCarran. After it gets back to McCarran less than 15 seconds later it goes back to the Strip. Repeat ad infinitum. Such a cool mod but there's no way the trains should be running that frequently lol.
I really wish there was a way script wise to force the camera into 1st person mode before starting the monorail trip. If you forget to do it yourself just one time before entering the monorail it completely breaks the game...
Also is there a way to change the frequency of which the monorail travel back and forth to the strip? I find it a bit unbelievable that it's necessary for NCR to transfer troops to the strip every two seconds. Also seeing it less often will make it a more special occasion when it travels by, for me.
EDIT: I can confirm you can't go into the monorail to defuse the bomb when doing "I Put a Spell on You" while having this mod active, just tested it. Seems like a great little addition to NV, but I won't have it in my load order, when it breaks essential quests. (For anyone who encounter this, you can use tcl command in console to noclip yourself into the train to defuse the bomb).
Hi AmaccurzerO! I'm Mutant Mods & run a channel on YouTube where I have a show called Modders Got Talent for Fallout New Vegas. In the coming episode, I'll be featuring multiple modders who've made remarkable & one of a kind mods. Your mod Immersive McCarran Strip Monorail Travel caught my attention & I decided to have it featured along with you as a guest for a brief moment. If you would like to participate in the video message me on my Discord: MutantModsPC. All that is required of you is to make a brief 10-20 second statement or comment on your own mod Immersive McCarran Strip Monorail Travel and send it over in audio. Excited to hear back from you! If you're uncomfortable with audio, you can send over a text that I'll instead voice or quotes during the video.

I have a weird bug where the sound plays but not the animation, my first person view is stuck and I can't move.
Anyone has had the same issue ?

Edit: Nope, not that.

Extract the .rar in the data folder of the game.

Please let me know, and thank you in advance!
