Hi. I'm having an issue with the helmets from this mod and Nightmare Fiends. The hair seems to clip through the helmets. I'm not sure how to fix this. (I'm also not sure if it is an issue with this mod or the other.) Any help would be appreciated.
Generally the hairtstyles look great, though some of the female ones seem to have some odd hairline issues? Such as the Dubrovsky. Looks very weird in the back.
The same as yours. As others have mentioned, the problem may be that the hair model does not fit the face of different races (or children) , or it simply fails to make one for them.
This Hair Kit mod seems to have some stability problems as the crash console will often mention .egm files originating from this mod that are loaded but immediately discarded. It also often calls for an "eyebrows_d_n.dds" file which doesn't seem to exist. This can be very memory intensive when loading areas with many NPCs.
Turning "bModifyDirectXBehavior" from 0 to 1 in the New Vegas Tick Fix .ini is ESSENTIAL for fixing these stability issues. After turning that on, with a load order of 350 mods, I no longer crash in NPC-intensive areas such as The Strip (with NPC-adding mods).
Be forwarned that turning that on will make Alt+Tabbing no longer work. Small price to pay if you're getting crashes, however.
Thank you, this fixed my stability issues. I don't know if it is my load order but doing this seems to mess with archive invalidation in some way (not loading textures that were loaded before). This may be my load order, but this only started happening after I did this. Either way, thank you very much for the information. \
EDIT: Just disabled then enabled the texture mod and then file invalidation, seemed to fix my issue. Thank you for your time.
You can install OneTweak if you want to keep the Alt+tab feature, or DXVK (changing your game from DirectX9 to Vulkan) The former is easier to use and more compatible, the latter might only work for more modern rig and you might GAIN performance, but it's not recommended if you have older PC, because high chance you'll just lose performance and experience more crashes.
Working fine as a replacer with FCO. Minor clipping, oh well, its not supposed to be used with FCO anyways. its soooo much better than vanilla hairs. If you're wondering how to use it as replacer only just delete everything under race in the esp in FNVedit.

I have all the facegen patches needed for me but no matter what if I enable the esp from CKR-Hair this happens. Everything is fine without this mod.
Happens no matter where the esp is in the plugin load order as well.
