If there's a really old and abandoned mod that added a custom weapon to the game but doesn't work so good anymore, feel free to message it to me. I'll look into getting permissions for another refurbishment like this one! No promises, though!
Changelogs for 1.1 and 1.2:
Fixed TTW integration and audio. The TTW script had an error in it which was preventing it from running, and I also added an extra line to adjust the value to be in line with TTW's economy rebalance. Enclave should be carrying these correctly now. Audio was reversed with the 2D (1st person) sfx having 360 degree audio and the 3D (3rd person) sfx NOT having it, meaning you would hear it at full volume if NPCs got their hands on the weapon, and it would be really really quiet in 1st person. That's been fixed, it's much louder now as intended.
Little note on lore, for funsies, because I care about that stuff:
We see the Enclave carrying the Tesla-Beaton prototype around in their crashed Vertibird. I think it's safe to say they have tesla technology, but they're still new to it. My thoughts on this mod is that this is a production Tesla weapon they produced for their soldiers to carry into battle, unlike the Tesla Cannons we see which I imagine they would use more like defensive batteries, similar to what we see in Fallout 3.
I tagged this mod as lore friendly, because we do see proper tesla rifles in Fallout 4, so they can be around! Did the Enclave make them? Ehhhh... No. But there's no reason they couldn't! It fits within the vibe, and that's what matters to me.
EDIT: Silly me, I never played Broken Steel and didnt realize this was an entire plot point. teehee.
