Hello. I installed it correctly (Laser bolt FX textures and meshes no esp) manually, did tests by deleting the script from the mod, everything works fine, with the script game CTD when fired from a laser pistol, maybe something related to the EVE mod, WAP or Impact (Impact Compatibility Edition works perfectly with EVE)? maybe some optional version with esp?
Does this change the lasers to be "missiles" under the game engines definition of the term?
I ask because i've been getting some odd behavior from some laser weapons where i will aim at a target perfectly, but the laser will somehow miss completely, when shooting at distant targets. I've only ever seen this kind of behavior from weapons set to use "missile" type projectiles with slow velocity settings.
By the game's terms, most of the projectiles go in a straight line but since the documentation is pretty lackluster, "Beam" projectiles instantly hit, "Missile" is used for bullets, rockets etc. anything that goes straight. Also, you more likely miss with low Skill rating, you can test this in vanilla with the Gatling Laser or even better just standing still and shooting at a wall with the Laser Rifle. The velocity is faster than vanilla.
If you are using MO2 - Mod Organizer 2. Open up the Laser Bolt FX - New Vegas / Laser Bolt FX - Vanilla Exition, select / highlight the ESPs, then right click and delete or hide them.
