I was trying to say that it will do only what mesh replacer should do -- replacing meshes, while not editing baseforms in any other way (apart from allowing to use ironsights animation since all meshes provided come with iron sights) like changing damage, rate of fire, item values, so changes in other mods that do that won't be overwritten. As for drop mag compatibility, that's an issue regarding anonx's meshes I guess, so this mod shouldn't change usual behavior with esp version in this regard, since it's just implementing said meshes in the game
I guess? I don't really know, because I've never used drop mag mod. But if it's compatible with vanilla rifles and not compatible with anonx's mesh replacer, I'm 99% sure that meshes cause compatibility issue like with their .44 magnum replacer and Hit's animations. Too bad, but we can't expect modders to make things compatible out of the box with everything. And anonx will probably remake laser rifle mod eventually anyway, since it's rather old and they've already did some remakes of their older mods, so there's hope. And I want to ask just in case, since it's rather unclear from our conversation, have you already tried anonx's mod with drop mag, and it does not work, right? Since I've just checked mod's page and no one ever mentioned that they don't work together. If not, then try it, it's safe to enable/disable mid playthrough if not touching esp (and probably even then)
I think I will try the anonx laser rifle with the B42 Drop mag mod, then I will add your mod to see if there is a compatibility problem or not or wait for anonx to redo a remake of the rifle for so that it is compatible. I'm going to try to take screenshots of the laser rifle while putting drop mag with it and will see the result afterwards As long as it works
So...I tested with and its your mod, when I reloaded Anonx's laser rifle without your mod I noticed there was no problem and then with your mod when I reloaded it, well there was no problem either so these two compatible mods on the other hand I took screens on Steam but I don't know how to find the URL address of the image sorry… :'(
