If you're over the slot limit, and another mod removes weapons from your inventory using a script, you will need to open and close your pipboy to update the slot count.
Otherwise, everything seemed rock solid in testing.
This is close to, but not quite what I am looking for. I'm looking for something that limits the number of weapons I can access in battle: NOT something that limits how many guns I can carry.
Seems right up my alley as I've always enjoyed needing to create a loadout before venturing out instead of just having a huge backpack full of guns.
This mod coupled with something like Armed to the Teeth could lead to a an incredibly immersive experience where you actually have to use the five limited slots on your character's model and every new weapon becomes a serious choice of whether to keep or leave it.
Just a minor update, after testing I can confirm this mod works seamlessly. Every time I'm overencumbered by it, I can easily remove whatever weapon is in my inventory and it instantly updates; no lag and no issues. I can hotkey the exact number of slots I need for Armed to the Teeth, and then it's a matter of choosing which one I feel like carrying for that mission.
I pretty much did this already on my own without mods (except for editing the carry weight limit to very low) with all my Fallout/Bethesda games for years but, having a mod for it is still better. Thanks a lot!
Now this is something I was looking for since I always tell myself that I would sort my arsenal but never do it. I would assume the armor with the white shirt and cowboy hat in screenshot 7 is a private mod, since it looks pretty cool.
Would it be possible to make anything on the Holdout Weapon formlist occupy their own separate, Holdout Weapon specific slot? Maybe making it so by default only the slot uses the regular holdout list, but when you hit 50 sneak it uses the Improved Holdout Weapon list instead? I think that'd be really neat.
Congrats with the release! Absolutely amazing mod, but can you make it so each weapon 3D model is shown on screen with big pretty text that says "this gun is over the limit"? Also would be really cool if this mod could add the same functionality to NPCs? Also I would like to have a key that drops least valuable weapons when I'm over the limit. Also please would you add a UI widget that tells me current limit? And all weapons I have? And make it compatible with DarnUI, Revelation UI, MUX? Also if I'm not asking too much, can you make weapons have pink dildos attachments for the best immersion? I'd totally endorse if this mod had all of this.
