About this mod

Seamlessly (or technically seamfully) moves Oasis to the Mojave Wasteland. It's now located in the canyon just west of Spring Mt. Ranch State Park. Watch out for Cazadores!

Ever found yourself bothered by the contrivance of Harold coincidentally ending up in D.C.? Vegas arguably makes more sense (even if you consider Tactics fully canon) and the quest still feels thematically appropriate for FNV.

I imagine that, had Bethesda not included this quest in Fallout 3, Obsidian would have done something very similar in New Vegas as an homage to the Nursery/Twin Mothers from Van Buren. If there is demand for it, I will probably be releasing a patch to alter some of the dialogue to better suit the Mojave, but I think it works well enough as-is.

The original location in the Fallout 3 worldspace is now blocked off by a cliff.

The mod is fully navmeshed. Currently when inside Oasis you will see the Capital Wasteland map when looking at your Pip-Boy. I have no idea why this happens, since I specified in the worldspace settings that it should use the New Vegas map. It might have something to do with it still having the FO3 default worldspace as a parent, but I can't change that since it would break the terrain in a really PITA way. If anyone knows how to fix this then please lmk.

THIS MOD REQUIRES YOU TO REGENERATE TERRAIN AND OBJECT LOD WITH XLODGEN!
If you do not do this then the entrance will be clipping through the vanilla LOD meshes!
You only need to generate terrain and objects for the "WastelandNV" worldspace. Regenerating object LOD for FO3's "Wasteland" is also recommended.

No support will be given to Vortex users or anyone with a completely borked load order. This is an ESM so it should be above all ESPs. Load it below other comprehensive landscape mods.

This should work flawlessly with TTW Reputations and the two should complement each other nicely.

FAQ:
Q:
Is this compatible with [X] ?
A: I have no idea. It will probably work unless it's a mod that makes intensive edits to Oasis, its quest, or the Mountain Springs area. It would take less than a minute for you to test it yourself by using "coc OasisMojave" from the main menu.

And special thanks to Wayne Newton, VA of Mr. New Vegas whom I based the radio add-on voice on.
