   Can you install/uninstall anytime? Btw, I have percieved the dim also in the day, any way to fix it?

      It shouldn't be dimming the daytime. Can you post an example?
      
      Also yeah it's safe to remove mid-playthrough

   is there any mods u think would go along with darker nights that makes travelling/exploring at night harsher and less forgiving?

      I can't think of any specifically for night time, but I know jsawyer makes the game harder overall.
      
      Did you have some ideas for night encounters? Could be a follow up mod
