If you were playing with an earlier version of the mod, the script may checked the time twice on load after death. To confirm paste this to console:

    GetGameDaysPassed 2277 08 17 - if you play TTW
                -or-
GetGameDaysPassed 2281 10 19 - if you play New Vegas

And if the dates don't match what's in the Pip-boy, subtract the difference, for example if you played for 30 days, and stats say 60 do:

    ModExtraMiscStat "Days Passed" -30
                -or-
    ModExtraMiscStat "Days Played" -30

The mod now persists the previous date between saves.

Johnny Guitar has updated. And it changed how Misc Stats work, so could be shenanigans there

Yes, its TTW compatible, assuming you start in Capital Wasteland
    Yes, it does work retroactively

Good idea on putting this in the description in big letters. You just eliminated about 75% of the future comments.

And thank you for the mod.

I'm gonna make the same edit, gonna recommend it to the mod author.

To DLpnd: Can you make a version that says days passed instead? I feel like that fits better in the pip-boy.

I can, but so can you, not to be rude, but its like a 20 lines of script runner

I could also add INI integration, but that code would be bigger than the mod itself

I would change it from "Days Played" to "Days Passed", for immersion sake.

Also for the sake of clarity, that its not counting the number of hours you've played, but ingame days.

Open up the text file you downloaded and change it from "Days Played" to "Days Passed"

I was going to suggest the same thing, because i know that I haven't been actually playing this game for 166 days since starting this character on a save file that is clocked in at around 70 hours.

We can change it with the text file? If yes then that's great, days passed fits better in my opinion.

Yessir, its just a script runner script, you can change it to Spanish, or French if your game is not English as well

Compatible with FPGE? For example, would this mod still count the days after post game ending or not and would the days be correctly counted after the post game ending?

The mod doesn't count dates, the engine does. I just ask the engine how many days went by. If time goes forward with FPGE, this script will use the date

Nice, so in short, it should be compatible with FPGE right?

Does this still work if installed mid-playthrough? Also does it count days passed when traveling to and from Zion?

It does work if you install mid-playthrough. Haven't tested Zion, but I believe time passes in game, so the JIP function will check for it

      EDIT:
Just checked, the days are correctly added in Zion
