Since ED-E returned from Lorenzo, ED-E My Love didn't complete so I used a console command to complete the quest, but ED-E seems to have this script that causes him to wander off unless I do removeallpackages and addscriptpackage 4083b every time I load my save... Is there a way to fix this or did I f*#@ up somehow?
Well, the quest still progressed weirdly without doing anything wrong... ED-E had a script he shouldn't have had after returning from Lorenzo, so I don't know how you want to rationalize that. But resetting and completing the quest via console commands fixed his script package issue.
Yes it's true the file was renamed. But I don't see much point. If you're using something like MO2 it will replace the file anyways. Even if it doesn't there won't be any conflict.
The pluginless version edits ED-Es inventory using a non-permanent JIP function, so it's safe to install and uninstall midgame. And it will work retroactively too.
