What's wrong with the other mod? I don't see why these cut songs can't play BEFORE Talent Pool is completed. It's not hard to believe that these four songs were sang by the Lonesome Drifter and Bruce Isaac at some point before they are recruited at the Tops. Especially Bruce Isaac, who's a famous singer who sang at the Shark Club in New Reno. You can also infer (based on the lyrics) that the Lonesome Drifter might have preformed these songs before as well, specifically at New Reno as he talks about his time walking the streets of New Reno.

Because it makes a lot better sense to have them played after the completion of the quest, and also reinforce attention to detail.

It also fits perfectly with the game's design. Joshua Sawyer was a big proponent of having little reactive world elements in New Vegas, and this is a great addition.

Very happy to see this. The other mod hadn't been updated in a while so I ignored it.
May be a silly question but will this be okay with other radio mods that add tracks? Such as 'Music Pack for Radio NV' which adds 300 songs

I haven't tested that mod yet, and I couldn't because apparently a moderator is reviewing the mod.

A post of mine was pinned which linked to a download for the mod.
      Here's the page: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/73424?tab=posts

I'll give it a dl and see if I notice the songs. Only issue is 'Music Pack for Radio NV' adds so many and I'm not sure I'll recognise the ones from the Aces Theatre. I'll look them up.

Alright, I checked the mod. It already has the Aces Theater songs included and it introduces similar requirements for them to play. So if you're using the music pack, then you don't need this mod.

Oh really?! I never knew that about it. Well hopefully nothing comes from me installing your mod and then uninstalling in the same playthrough.
Thank-you for taking the time to check; and thank-you for mods like this. I may not need this one but so many others of yours are borderline essential.

As a big fan of the Music Pack in question before it got snatched off Nexus, it's a pretty good mod if you can come by its files. Glad to see another way for folx to hear the songs. <3

Does Mr.Vegas talk about the songs?

No, as far as I'm aware.
