So I put the ncr trooper outfit on for arizona killer and killed Kimball, but I got attacked when I went back to the fort. I had already taken the ncr armor off, so I was very confushed. Check my rep, had lost all my rep with most factions and I was villified by the Legion. I'm hoping there's some way to fix this because my last hard save was quite a while ago and this really sucks lol.

Edit: Set all my reps back to how they were before using Cheat Terminal, even with idolized I still get attacked when I enter the fort. It's like it's not recognizing I'm taking the armor off. Disabling the mod also doesn't fix it.

Edit 2: In case this ever happens to anyone else, completely uninstall the mod in whatever mod manager you use and then take off the armor. Should fix your rep. Easy enough solution. You can almost certainly reinstall after but as I'm not wearing anything faction related right now other than a Legion headpiece that doesn't count as a disguise I decided not to at the moment so I can't guarantee that. Seems very likely though.

Thank f#%king god for you. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find a mod that does this exact thing, and only this exact thing. Thank you, stranger. Thank you.

Heya, lil question, since the mod only uses scripts and going just by context does that mean it should be super duper safe to use for an alrdy existing save?

For example only one character safe i am playing has this mod beeing relevant to so to still use the usual disguise mechanic i can just disabled it freely for other characters saves right ?

(I just ask to make sure cause i am always a worrywart about adding mods mid playthrough and just wanna be safe :x)

It's fine. The effects of the scripts only persist for the current game session.

Is there a way to make this a yes/no prompt, like what JSUE does? Disguises are useful in some circumstances, especially as a Legion player.

Does this also include the ability for Companions to wear faction armor?

It doesn't edit any existing scripts. It uses the command SetScriptDisabled from JIP LN. What that command does is basically stop the game from executing the specified script. In other words, it's like removing the script entirely without actually doing so.

    Thank yaw.
Does it cover TTW? You know, I imagine it does.

TTW doesn't have disguises. But yes it is compatible. This mod is just a simple script.

Yeah, kinda obvious. I was previously using Roy's mod and sorta forgot about that little detail.

His mod didn't even need a TTW requirement. It just edits vanilla FNV scripts, and even then all it does is wipe the scripts clean, and that can break Arizona Killer. Something that my mod doesn't.
