If youre using lets say Hitmans animations for CFWR would this be compatible?

  I use them myself with no problems. Both animations available for the G11 will work fine as well

It needs a manual download? Can I get away with downloading the archive and having vortex install it or is there something more I need to take care of?

  Make sure you have FOV Slider installed and have Near Distance Clipping set as low as possible
