DESCRIPTION

Someguy Series Plus is a personal mod I've been making for a bit since the release of New Vegas Bounties 1 LE, mainly focused on smaller additions to lore and stats.

The idea first started after I published NVB1 LE - Additional Armors, when I realized I had both more ambitious ideas around the lore and balancing of the mods. There is already a lot of great writing packed into these mods, yet I also found there to be plenty of space to work in a lot of new writing without being overbearing, mostly including new minor bits of lore and details.

I made this out of my appreciation of the series's overall writing and to add more to playthroughs for those with either a keen eye or a deep care for the series's storytelling. This isn't in any way an attempt to rewrite the mods, nor an attempt to 'fix' anything, and what has been added are just things I thought would fit as nice, smaller additions on top of an already expansive set of quests.

Don't use this if it's your first time playing the series, as I believe you should get an unbiased, vanilla perspective of these mods first.

CHANGES

1) Adds additional notes and holotapes to NPCs and locations, all of which attempt to both stay true to the original writing style and add more to the world.

These notes range from connecting certain NPCs and factions together, comments about the player's progress across the series, and adding extra backstory to certain targets. Another aspect I wanted to cover was Virgil. There are notes that hint at the consequences of your actions in Bounties 1, to hint at and warn of what happens in Bounties 3 and as a way to ground Virgil's reasoning further.

2) Overhauls a lot of interiors such as Randall's office, The Judge's bunker, and other bounty locations in either subtle or noticeable ways.

This will range from rotating furniture, adding extra weapons and junk across the map, adding skill books and consumables in hidden areas, and much more. These new changes are inspired by how Bounties 3 vastly improved a lot of the interior work, as I feel it looked especially great there and wanted it to be consistent across his other mods.

3) Rebalances some things, most notably giving Jack's outfit unique stats instead of the ranger armor stats and rebalancing Tony's outfit.

I didn't want to go overboard with outfits and items like I did in my original Bounties 1/Killer additional item mods, so no new armor has been added. I plan on rebalancing items within the future LE releases.

4) Facelifts some NPCs. This involved giving people like Jack and Robertson more noticeable eyebrows, and giving Quigley and Chesty more dead looking eyes.

Nothing too major was changed, as I wanted to keep the original look of most of the characters.

COVERING FUTURE LE MODS

I'm unsure if I'll cover any of the future LE releases. I may be more busy with other things, and I've replayed New Vegas far too many times at this point.

New Vegas Bounties 2 is the one I'd like to cover the most.

The Inheritance and Russell are less likely, but there are some corners of those mods I could think of additions for.

New Vegas Bounties 3 and King of the Ring probably don't need anything new.

I don't plan on covering Bad Mothafucka or Checkpoint Gary.

INSTALLATION

Drag and drop or use a mod manager. Use the latter for the best experience.

Uninstallation is this in reverse.

COMPATIBILITY

This is probably not compatible with some other mods that edit inventories such as Sweet Style Bounties and my original armor mods, although people are free to make patch mods for anything. I'm not interested in doing such.

This was also made while using DarnUI, due to the extra space in the notes section. It should still be compatible and fine with Vanilla/VUI+.

Works with TTW from what I can tell.
