About this mod

Modifies Mobile Truck Base mod to require repair before use, along with some minor balance tweaks.

I really liked the Mobile Truck Base mod, but I've found it a bit too easy to acquire the vehicle. Doesn't make sense logic wise to have a fully working vehicle just sitting there, waiting to be fueled up.

Changes:
  • Now, before you can drive, you have to repair the vehicle after getting the key. In vanilla style, you can either go and gather all the required parts, or have a high enough repair skill (60).
  • Increased Barter requirement for cheaper (700->250) buying option to 50 (from 40). It was rather huge difference, but I couldn't just change the price, because of the voiced lines. So instead, nudging the player to pay full price seemed like a good compromise along with new repair requirement.
  • Sink is disabled. Did not make sense to have unlimited supply of fresh water in a vehicle and also broke water balance.
  • Now 1 hour is passed every time you travel, for consistency's sake.


List of required components for repair:
  • 2 Fission Battery
  • 2 Firehose Nozzle
  • 2 Duct Tape
  • 2 Wrench
  • 2 Pilot Light
  • 4 Leather Belt
  • 4 Scrap Metal


Installation:

  • Install the base mod and this mod (I recommend to useMO2)
  • Put the MTB Rebalance.esp after the main mod (should always be so, given as MTB is a esm)

You can install/uninstall this sub-mod at any time. If you already bought the van, you'll likely have to repair it now before you can use it.
