Issue with walking into the Divide (in my case the canyon wreckage), weather effect stopped for the DLC area (expected) but then remained gone when i returned to base Mojave, which was confusing. tried reloading, hard quitting the game, waiting an hour and it hadn't come back. other than that, love the addition of sound, even if janky it makes more sense to me then silence.
I'm having a similar issue. I thought I had installation error with this mod, but I think the weather just up and bugged for me. for context, I played for an hour or two before downloading a complement of patches and rebalances for DUST, after which the weather bugged and turned back to vanilla weather. I'm not sure why this is the only problem I've encountered, as every mod I've downloaded seems to work fine and the save's still stable. I looked it up a bit, but can't find a way to reset the weather via console commands. I'll try some options then get back to ya. *Edit, because I forgot all about it. Launch the game using the NSVE executable. Anything reliant on the mod won't work if you don't launch it through NSVE.
Ahh, here. Never thought of looking on the Nexus for existing weather mods. Use DUSTy Weather ( https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58310?tab=description )
Great mod, but a slight issue. I was mid playthrough when I download this mod and it's earlier variant. As I understand it, the previous mods weather could be activated by activating it's switches, but since I started my character a good ways away, I preferred this mod.
The issue is, since I haven't started a new game with the mod, the weather affect is not taking place. As such, Is there a way to activate the mod mid-playthrough?
Love the mod. I played DUST last year and hated that I had to choose a starting location near the switches just to get the sandstorm. One question though. is it possible to get them with sound. It looks funny having all this sand in the screen but no wind sound.
Nice mod. But it seems like some of worldspace headers are overwritten improperly. For instance, Colorado river is reappeared because the mod reset water height back to vanilla value.
Is there an ini file to set the frequency or the density of the sandstorms? For me they are uncommon. And not in all areas. Read through these comments but nothing really helped. Thank you
Freshly downloaded and tested, first half of the worldspaces in xEdit have climate paramaters from vanilla Mojave Sandstorm (from Mojave Wasteland to Boulder City Ruins, without Inner Sanctum).
But that's still small potatoes, after installing it and making sure it's below Expansion Project and DUST I still have clear skies, no sandstorm of any type in sight. Tested on DUST old endgame save.
Edit: Ok, on a new game I finally can see sandstorms right from the start.
Any chance for a more watered-down sandstorms? Because the thing is, I play FNV using pentium as cpu and only integrated vpu, which means that whenever sandstorms appear and me trying to snipe enemies far away, it lags. A lot. I don't want to remove this mod because I personally think this mod adds a handicap that even the base DUST lacked (limiting visibility) as an additional challenge. But I can't use most weapons because of this...

Yeah I placed it below DUST and EP. But I was saying this.

Awesome mod!
