@VearCon64 Did you really think insulting a mod author by shouting at them multiple times is going to get them to help YOU with a problem only YOU reported so far?
This made it so I can actually travel around Zion for more than a few minutes without my game crashing (since I brought a whole slew of companions along with me). THANK YOU! Endorsed
This is absolutely essential. This is one of the best stability MODs I have ever used. Ive been gaming since the 80's. I started Modding around 2000. I am very familiar with the consequences of various types of MOD's I usually manage to get a stable setup. I few weeks ago I started my first playthrough of TTW. I was leary of about its stability and the number of useable MOD's for it. It was somewhat challenging to even get it installed properly. After a doing a lot of homework and trial and error I got a very stable game up and running. I have all the essential MODs needed for it to run properly (about 7). I have slowly and conservatively after doing my homework added 70 TTW specific MOD's and a handful of NV MODs. As I went on over time I noticed hesitation and occasional stuttering on loading, saves and cell changes with the occasional crash. Nothing I could not live with but it was annoying I suspected that it had something to do with the number of MODs plus saves I had. Then I tripped across this gem and and it described the problem I was having and the causes and most importantly the solution! I know stewie makes some of the best tweaks and fixes in the Fallout world so I got this and the companion MOD. I applied both and its like a fresh game. No more hesitating, stuttering, Slow loads or crashes. Its amazing. If you are playing TTW you should definitely be using this. Its amazing how much better the game performs and it makes for a Rock Stable build. This should be considered an essential tweak/fix for TTW. Highly recommended and Endorsed!
You know they're an OG if it's 2023 and they're still referring to Vortex as the NMM in their descriptions :P deprecated, I say! Thanks for this. Going to use this fosho.
The updates it receives are sparse and the mod manager functions are more inefficient compared to MO2. Don't use it, it was deprecated for a very good reason.
Thermoligarch What is the reason? NMM is being updated even now. NMM is perfect for those who know what they are doing. I've been using NMM for years, used MO2, switched back to NMM. It's kind of like when Nexus suggests using Vortex because something.
You guys are wizards. I followed the VNV and MEG guides and basically made the game have almost zero load times. From cold starting to the main menu, loading my save, going to interiors, and then saving again.
Installed the game on SSD with 140+ mods installed.
Thank you so much for this! I was very long into a TTW game when it reached the point where it would simply crash on every save. I installed this and your Engine Optimizations and now everything is stable and smooth again! Thank you!
