In 2.0 I reworked the meshes and texture properties to lower the likelihood of mini freezes upon equipping. The guns' loader bug was fixed, and the chrome finish was toned down a little bit to make them look less plastic, more steel/brass. Two optional ESPs were added, a lower level one that uses .44 and .357 magnum bullets, and a High level, high damage version for the endgame.
I know this isn't much but can you update this mod to be as nearly big as the hunting revolver? i did a size comparison with this and the .44 magnum and they both have the same size.
SW 500 usually is nearly about the same size as Hunting revolver.
I think it's more like Obsidian made the hunting revolver much too large. It's closer to that giant soviet revolver (forgot its name). I'll still consider a rework one of these days, see if a larger frame fits the animations well enough.
For some reason, I can only find bullets in the Goodsprings gun crate. Even after reinstalling the mod, the revolvers still do not appear. (I ended up using commands to add them to my inventory)
I usually make sure that doesn't happen. Must've slipped back then. I'll add that to the coming patch that fixes the cylinder bug and a few other things.
The box with revolvers does not appear in the workshop from photo. I tried changing the order of all files and the box with these revolvers does not appear, I even went to the boutique with mod outfits and nothing. Can you help me ?
Everything's working fine on my end. You need to check your installation method, every user is different and I can't just guess what's wrong there. Maybe you're using a Goodsprings overhaul mod? they may have placed something that covers or clashes with the bench.
I reinstalled it and the box was restored, first with signs of missing textures, and then after a second, when I used the box, suddenly the signs of missing textures disappeared. But its works now. Thx for you respond. keep up good work man i love you mods.
I mean you COULD, and it's a game, and you're the guuh darn courier. You can definetly fire this gun single handed imo, I suppose the ammo load would matter alot too, I wouldn't want to fire it single handed with a snub barrel that's for sure :D.
My guess is that keeping them on target due to the recoil when going akimbo would be very hard, but hey when you're dual wielding two handcannons you don't care about that sorta stuff, go git um pardner!
I'll just say that in real life, the Smith and Wesson 500 is more powerful than the .44 Magnum and the Desert Eagle. So it should have that damage buff if you haven't already done it.
I mean I know generating double the force of a deagle is excessive for balance, but the mod page says in between a 44 and a hunting revolver. is there not a way you can just make it worthy of its position of worlds most powerful handgun? or did a buff happen already and I'm just stupid? cause I'm pretty sure you can increase from a 44 being a 100% 1 shot. Edit; I looked up the gun stats again, and I mean, maybe equal to the Ranger Sequoia at least, maybe some kind of bonus like armor penetration or crit bonus. I feel like that isn't too far.
Bumping a gun's damage in this game is so comically easy to pull off in xEdit that i don't even know why people are bothered with whatever dmg it comes with. Gotta say though, for the usual game balancing, this might be a hit kill gun, but with whatever hell concoction i made of my game here, you're not hit-killing anything other than pest bugs, farm animals and powder gangers with "power between a 44 and hrev"
Been bumping up (and rarely down) damage on newly added guns so much i know the path out of muscle memory by now.
