FAQ

Q. I'm at the end of the mod how do I get to the private room/suite?
A. You can either walk up to the top floor of the hotel rooms, or go directly there using the button on the left of all elevators in the building.

Q. Why didn't you change x location or adjust x clutter placement more, or add loads of new stuff?
A. I was trying to maintain the vanilla location layout and the original authors vision as much as possible, if I had been working from scratch I likely would have done things very differently in some cases.

Q. Will you update this and change or add X Y Z?
A. Probably not, I don't really have the time or inclination to work on this more currently, or make a separate more drastic overhaul, small bug fixes will probably happen if they are needed though.

Q. Will you edit more mod environments in the future, or do more complex overhauls?
A. Maybe. I am a qualified environment artist and hard surface 3d modeler. But I kind of want to work on more complex and original stuff.
And currently circumstance and lack of time are preventing me from working on other projects I do want to work on

Q. I don't like X will you-
A. No

Q. But-
A. No,  the best way to get such things how you want them, is to tweak them yourselves

Changes A Rough Breakdown

While sharing a number of elements with the base game interior, the refurbished version of the ground floor of the Bison Steve, adds and removes a number of  rooms, while completely rearranging the rooms it does keep. (Though to be fair, the vanilla layout doesn't match up with the shape of the buildings exterior either)

This mod restores the deleted areas and returns the moved sections back to their original locations, the newly added steakhouse room is relocated to be behind the boarded up double doors by the entrance, and the toilets are moved into a near by void in the building layout. (this did require adding one new door, and a boarded up equivalent of it to the vanilla interior.)
The partially collapsed kitchen tunnels are restored, with the formerly collapsed sections patched up and braced with wooden beams (and connecting to the Bison Steve's added kitchen cell and steakhouse room.)

The New Bison Steve's giftshop cell replaces the vanilla version once a certain quest stage is reached (and like the original mod can be toggled on and off, but will leave you with a mostly empty room.)

The Hotel rooms have been edited to match up closer to the vanilla equivalents, and the partially collapsed second floor absent from the refurbished interior has been restored.
Its layout is based on the accessible and left over inaccessible base game sections.
In vanilla there is no staircase to reach the second floor, only collapsed floors forming a ramp. Based on the layout it looks like the small cupboard room (where The New Bison Steve mod places a wall safe), at an earlier point of development was intended to connect to the missing staircase, so its contents have now been moved to a new room on the second floor and the staircase re-added (this necessitated, making some small edits to this area of the base game interior.)
The furniture is now mostly the hotel room's original furniture fixed up, with a new (but basic)  mesh for the fixed up version of the default beds.
Rather than simply replacing the collapsed rooms with their intact equivalents, the affected walls and floors have been patched up and reinforced with new supporting beams, for a more realistic and more importantly more visually interesting interior space than just identical cleaned rooms.

The private suite which is the mod's final reward, has been moved from being in a magically appearing basement door to being up on a higher floor of the building.  It can be accessed by either using the button on the left of the lifts, or walking up past both floors of hotel rooms. (The walls and floors have been changed to match this new location and a proper bathroom added, now like all of the hotel rooms you get a bath, sink and toilet, not just a toilet in a stall)

Some elements of trash and grime were restored, retained or added, as even the Strip casinos have such things, and without them the environments would be very empty and bland looking.

Some non lighting related changes from MonoAccipiter's New New Bison Steve mod, have also been included (script and balance changes object placement etc) Including there only being one bottle of Nuka Cola Quantum in Bucks Place (sorry but they are meant to be very rare in the Mojave), but the remaining bottle now has a more unique display spot.
