Q - Will there be a Fallout 3 version? TTW version? A - At some point, yes. New Vegas was my priority, the others will come after.
Q - Are you using any graphical mods in the screenshots? A - All screenshots taken by me use only this mod, and don't use ENB, ReShade, or NVR. Screenshots taken by others may.
Q - Are the required mods really required? A - Not really, they're soft requirements. They are recommended for the intended experience but the mod functions without them.
Q - Will you add x feature? A - Maybe, maybe not. It depends on a case-by-case basis. I'd like to keep this mod fairly lightweight so I will never go as feature heavy as some other weather mods do.
Q - Do you plan to do x weather? A - Most likely, yes. This mod is designed with vanilla in mind, so while some weathers are currently unchanged I will likely at some point try to do my own take on them, it's just a matter of finding the 'right' way to do it so to speak. New Vegas is a very atmospheric styalized game, I don't want to take away from that.
How come the distant mountains are brighter than the sky during rainy weathers? I noticed this in the example screenshots too and was wondering if this was due to some sort of limitation. One of the prettiest weather mods I've seen aside from that.
Would you consider allowing the older versions of this mod to be downloaded again? I prefer the first version and would like to use it again. Totally understand if you don't want it up anymore.
Man the mod it's so good but it's just a shame the sky is still very bright for me. I don't know what is causing that issue sincerely since this weather mod it's the only who cause me the bright sky issues.
Are you using enb? nvr? reshade? Have you given the game time to cycle weathers? typed rcc in console? do you have other plug-ins overriding this? Have you wait3d 24 ingame hours? These are all things that you should verify to ensure the mod is working. Weathers take a bit of time to fully apply unlike texture or mesh replacers, as the game has to cycle into them.
Thanks for answer man but i manage to fix the problem finallyy!
To answers your questions first: i don't have enb, nvr or reshade. There were no other plugins to conflict with this mod since i have the ones you put in the description and that's it. I gave the game time to recycle the weathers but that not fixed it.
So here's the thing, i don't know what setting exactly was causing that sky bright bug with the weather mod because once i put my graphics settings on high/default in the "falloutnvlauncher" the sky bright issues were gone. I'm thinking probably would be the HDR who i had it off before because i don't wanted my game bright (ironically lol) or some specular setting i disable so yeah. I don't gonna touch any settings right now to confirm because i'm good as it is lol.
Now i'm enjoying the beautiful sights - Here testing on a vanilla with just the basic plugins the mod: https://ibb.co/khTfh2j - Testing on my currently playthrough: https://ibb.co/wspWT98
I've always had HDR enabled, that was never the issue. picao's method worked for me too, but it's even dumber than I thought...I turned off antialiasing and it broke again. So, presumably, changing any settings at all is a no-go for me. Extra unfortunate because resetting to default settings also solved a lot of stability issues I was having.
Did you find out what causing it? I also have brightness changes in some places. Im not using NVR tho.
Standing in same place, only moved camera slightly and this happens. Its normal in most places, but in some its like this. I tried disabling all mods, disabled reshade, no enb. Dont have it with any other weather mods.
Hello, im using dust and was trying to overwrite its weather edits with this mod, putting your mods esp lower but it doesnt seem to change the weather, im guessing i have to force the weather in the console for this to work?
Doubt anyone can help me but I tried using Vortex's archive invalidation together with the standard archive invalidation to fix a certain texture issue that I was facing, and then somehow the skybox for Old World Blues is messed up. Tried disabling both archive invalidations and enabling the standard but the issue persists. It only disappears when disabling this weather mod. I don't think I had this issue prior, though I might have used a different weather mod at the time before using this. I have weird white circles in the sky. Thanks for any help.

Thank You for Hot Files!

The weather can change abruptly if I enter a building and exit it instantly
Also there's sometimes an annoying rain sound for half a second upon exiting a building, even if it's not raining
