    Desperately needs a Fallout 4 port, it fits the setting extremely well.

      there is one similar in fo4, i made a replacer version for the laser musket using it

    I love this weapon for my low level portion of the playthrough where ammo is scarce and I'm trying to build resources.
    Use it for hunting and shooting wild animals more than anything else because I can make the cartridges with just powder and lead.

    Couple this with the couriers stash mod, I can leave one for my next build when I want to.

    No gripes about this, this obviously took a lot of work and I'm thankful for people like you guys who make this cool stuff for us.

    Neat mod, although one critic, i dont believe you shove the wadding from the paper cartridge down a rifled muskets barrel. That's for smooth-bore muskets.

      Not all muzzleloaders used a scope and even if they did often the rifle was ever so slightly longer than a normal musket.  Of its type.

      What prevents me from taping a scope to the top or side of the musket and just using that? I'm not worried about zeroing I'm just a dumb courier, ya'll actin like we gotta be historically accurate in a game set in the 2200s after a thermonuclear war bruh

    Great Mod works like a charm and is perfect for RPing the sneering imperialist perk the only thing I dont like is how the range is only like 10-25 ft when it should be like the anti-material rifle and have a range of at least 200 meters

    Nice gun. I'm using it right now. Accuracy ain't that great, but its substantial. Only gripe is that the ram rod needs to be longer. It should be flush with the end of the muzzle.

    I have an idea, TTW plugin that places it in the Museum of Technology?

    I searched for this mod specifically because there's an exhibit in the museum of an 1861 Springfield, although said gun is missing, and thought it would be pretty cool to find one there. Just a thought!

    Can't for the life of me figure out why, but my game hard crashes on launch if I have this mod installed. Could be because I don't have all the DLC? But that's not listed in the requirements so I don't know.

      Check your plugin count, that was my issue. if it's over 150 (vanilla) then it'll crash, if you've increased the max plugin count then anything over 255 will crash.

      As Corpraljak said: If you have more than 255 plugins, it causes crash
      If its over 150 plugins, you need to install FNV Mod Limit Fix
