for whatever reason this mod doesn't work for me. alt tab still locks out the game. using dxvk fixes this but has some issues with mods like new vegas reloaded.
Now after having made the above correction it alt tabs fludly without crash. And i can use it with new vegas reloaded and have garenteed enb/reshade support as i diddnt have to change the entire game engine to fix one problem.
Saying it does nothing to help because x option exists is simply not true
This mod makes it so the crosshair moves where your camera is looking, so every time a menu pops up to use my mouse and click on something it's always somewhere random and it's very frustrating
Stupid question, but can I use this on my Oblivion? Would it help or do anything at all? I'm desperately trying to cure that game's horrible, horrible stutter
Lmao had to go through the comments here. Incredible. This mod works. Doesn't cause stutter. In fact, installed via Vortex. On top of 76 plugins coming out of 129 mods. On Windows 11. Ultrawide environment. Every option it provides does what it says it does. Can't complain, kudos given.
Excellent fork. Just got into DXVK and HDR etc. and noticed that whenever I was using the old OneTweak and DXVK, the double mouse cursor bug had suddenly returned. Happy to say that this updated version fixed that problem for me 👍 And no, like one of the stickied comments say, lStewieAl's Tweaks will not fix the double cursor bug, but lStewieAl's Tweaks WILL fix the mousewheel scrolling bug, where you sometimes scroll windows elsewhere in Windows (problem for us with more than one monitors) - it's called bPreventInactiveWindowScrollingin case anyone was wondering.
Hey there, sorry for the necro. Saw your comment and thought I'd ask. I was wondering if it is possible to move the borderless window over to a second monitor? Many thanks!
Got back into New Vegas again, still running into an issue I posted about here before; if I set DisableWindowsGhosting to true, the game refuses to recognize my controller. Not sure if it's an inherent feature of OneTweak or something, but also not the biggest deal if nothing can be done about it. Just takes me out of the game a bit when I see that spinning circle when the game's loading. If there's any alternative or workaround you know of, that would be great. And thanks for the performance guide, it's been a big improvement even on my 5900X/3090.
Try using the 4GB Patcher. SpeedingOffence made a video about New Vegas memory limitations and why the game crashes so often. Part 1, Part 2. I can't recall if there's a 4GB Patch for the Epic Games Store version though.

found the fix, i was using ttw and had:
[Display]
; Enables Fullscreen mode
bFull Screen=1
In my falloutcustom.ini
Setting it to:
[Display]
; Enables Fullscreen mode
bFull Screen=0
Fixed it
Without this mod the game will crash on alt tab

Is there way to have the audio not muted when you switch between tabs? I still want to hear the game when I alt tab
