Tweaks has some fast travel options but they really arent comparable to this nor do they do the same thing, plus tweaks cant implement custom perks or anything like that as far as im aware
I don't use TTW but I had someone who does verify that it does work so the only thing I can think of is that both of you are missing requirements or they are outdated.
Sorry, I think I may have found the issue. I'm gonna release an update here soon and hopefully it should be fixed. Again, I don't use TTW so I have no way to test it but I believe I know what's causing it. EDIT: Updated, let me know if it works.
This mod somehow messes timescale, not sure how and when, but sometimes after fast travel through all map timescale becomes either too low or too high.
can u give me some steps to take to reproduce this? i do modify the timescale temporarily (for a few frames at most) to make sure costs are consistent with travel times but i just traveled all over the map for around 10 mins and the timescale reset properly everytime
If I could, I don't know the exact steps to reproduce. It happens randomly and I'm sure because of this mod, no other touches the timescale variable except this. I can send you saves with a messed-up timescale, but I don't think that will be much of a help.
Hey, I know this comment is months old but I altered the formula to no longer modify the TimeScale global variable so there shouldn't be any more issues like this. Though I personally never had a problem with the old formula, the new formula is much better for obvious reasons.
Thanks, this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Customizable costs, scales with distance. Endorsed.
Fast travel costs don't need to be more complicated than this - and it's a good way to make sure fast travel is still possible for the truly obnoxious trips but preventing the player from skipping fairly normal traversal.
Thanks, I wanted a version of this that is just cap dependant instead of having to buy something like a caravan lunch or a nuka cola. Really appreciate it.
Can't wait to try this out! I typically play hardcore and fast travel as little as possible so I'm forced to use more resources than just food and water after travel. This seems like it'll balance things out effectively so fast travel doesn't feel as much like cheating the game world.

Are you saying no matter how many hours you travel the message always shows 0 hours and 0 caps? Are caps being spent at all?

If so, thank you so much. Endorsed!
