bar none the best m1887 animations ever, and the sound effects make it even more crisp. its just a shame new vegas has a bit a jankiness that make the animations bug out occasionally
Awesome animations, though for some reason it uses the hitman lever-action reloading. The rest of the animations working fine. Even deleted the override folder from the M1887 data and set it to lower in the order than the gun itself.
Really weird, there might be some animation file that wasn't completely deleted, or some animation set that you gathered for your own use and it might be conflicting. Or something got messed up in your folders. I suggest redownloading both mods and reinstalling them.
It's very strange because even the vanilla lever-action is now using your animations, except for the reloading (which is hitman's). Which it shouldn't be. A real head scratcher and the only thing I can think to blame beyond my own stupidity is Vortex.
EDIT: I am an idiot, I've fixed it, though the vanilla one still is using your B42 check animations.
@noelmike, to remove the check animations for the vanilla lever action you can remove the WeapNVLeverActionShotgun folder in the B42 inspect folder of the mod.
Having the same issue myself. I use Hit's Season 1,2 & 3 animation sets. For mod management I use Mod Organizer 2 and I've made sure that this mod overwrites hit's animations by loading this one after the former. Rest of the animations work fine but the reload defaults to Hit's.
Edit: Managed to fix it. First, I read the other posts (I know. I'm dumb as a brick!). Here is what I did : 1. I downloaded the required Weapon Mod for which this animation set is for ("MW2RWP M1887" by Chinpoko117). 2. I extracted it and navigated to its "Meshes" folder and deleted the "AnimGroupOverride" folder within. 3. Then I downloaded this mod, extracted it and copied the files from this mod and overwrote the files of the folder from the previous step i.e. the original mod's. 4. Repacked the whole Data folder (I used 7zip, you can use any compression software) and installed this using my mod manager. 5. Rejoiced by shooting everyone in the NCRCF compound
man I think you should go through this Anim again there's something you did wrong for sure iv spend hours trying to figure out why a simple override doesn't work and that's frustrating asf .....the real problems are caused by [2hrreloadX_partial][2hrreloadX][2hrreloadXStart] for me the all other animation works but the reload anim just reloads one shell no partial- no empty, i have more than 50 animation overrides so I'm not a noob or anything i never have anim conflicts cause all my weapons are in one master ....considering the amount of reported issues its no Suprise.. the TrenchGun works flawlessly. My Question how TF And Why TF.....im sorry bro i just get tired and really annoyed when simple things use up to much of my time so please get back to me as soon as possible.
To anyone using this anim set with the M1887 encountering the "Using Hit's animation" bug there's a solution: - Chinpoko's M1887 comes with Hit's reload animation in the AnimGroupOverride folder. - Check for the MW2RWP M1887 folder and json file. Delete 'em. - Now just copy Banana's M1887 anim set as usual. - Profit.
so what i had to do was delete the S at the end of the M1887S file to get it to properly overwrite the files in M1887 (it's just 2 files that control the ADS animations (you can see the spin in all it's glory by unscoping immediately after shooting))
