A version of this for disguises could be pretty cool. Though I imagine that could be a little more complicated to work out due to most players wanting to wear faction clothes in general, not as a disguise.
So how does this work if I just turn off "Manage Gear"? Cass, Boone and Willow would have to be given radiation suits for them to use it or is it just automatic whenever I have one?
no, you wouldnt have to give them anything. as soon as you equip a suit they are given a weightless unplayable version of the advanced radiation suit, and as soon as you unequip it they unequip theirs, it is removed from their inventory, and they re-equip the gear they had on before
the incompatibility with jip ccc's "manage gear" option is due to that feature locking their inventory in order to make your companions only equip what you tell them, so they wont equip the gear they had on before equipping the suit
