    Thank you all for your comments. Sorry for the incovenient with the script error. Now the thermometer should work fine.

    I uploaded a new version with some corrections. Get the 1.02 version.

    For some reason in the falloutnv_error.log it is showing this

    SCRIPT: 'ANDxAnimDinoSCRIPT' (PlayGroup Error) No 3d or controllers found for 'AnimDinoRef' (0008D79D).

    Do you think this is an issue?

      Nothing to worry about.

      Still, I made some corrections in the nif file. Get new version 1.02. Maybe that fixed the error_log.

      That error I believe is caused by calling playgroup states on objects which are not loaded in - a remedy for this is using the GetInGrid fucnction added by the New vegas script extender - This function will basically if added to the condition checks only allow the playgroup states to be called if the player is within a certain distance of the object. ofocurse you could use the Onload command but that would only run once on load. https://geckwiki.com/index.php?title=GetInGrid

      I'm gonna try to edit this using that function on my end and see if the error in the log goes away. Seems to still show up after the latest update but everything works as it should.

      yeah I had that same error appear in my UFO mod and fixed it. hope it worked out for you, on my latest mod I published it without doing a disabled check so this error would generate and so far have had no one complain, but I am going to update it just to remove the log data soon.

      Begin GameMode

      ref Gself

      set Gself to getself

        if getcurrenttime >= 6 && getcurrenttime <= 6.01 && GetInGrid getself, 1
           AnimDinoRef.playgroup Forward 1
        endif
         if getcurrenttime >= 19.5 && getcurrenttime <= 19.51  && GetInGrid getself, 1
          AnimDinoRef.playgroup Backward 1
        endif
      END

      Thats how the script should look to get rid of that error log data. bascially if the player is not within 1 ugrid cell of the Dino then the animations will not be called for updates. bascially the DIno will be loaded in when changing Animation states compared to now

      Ended up trying that and couldn't get the error to go away, just following up. Not sure why but doesn't seem to cause any problems just spams the falloutnv_error.log for the whole time you are playing.

    Probably a pipe-dream and a nightmare to get working, but it would be awesome if the thermometer would be based upon the actual in-game tempatures, rather than just day and night. Easiest if it would just take in account stands 30F to 120F, and round it off. Like if it's 72F the animation goes to 70, but if its like 38F the animation goes to 40. Would also mean it'd be universally compatible with all weather mods.

    Anyway, just my two cents! Thank you for this mod!

    Looking at the temp on the dino today... MY GAWD over 100 degrees at 6am!! Truly makes you wish for a nuclear winter. Great job!

    Not trying to hate. This is good work but the temp jumping from 40 to 100 is a bit much

    Nice. You know, I was just thinking. Imagine if the mouth would open and close slowly like those old time signs. It would also make taking the shot from inside it's mouth quite memorable, I'd imagine...

      Manny and Boone then would need some motion sickness pills... Or just hearing aids after some years of working near mechanisms screeching loudly, depending on which part of the dino's "skull" will be moving.

      The thermometer requires a script to work. So, it needs an .esp. Whithout it, you'll only ge the flicker animation in the sign.

    And another essential mod :)
    Can you make the white "glass tube" less bright? It is especially noticeable at night.
