I know this is small niche thing, but when using the Checkpoint Carbine mod with this weapon in first person (oddly not 3rd person) and holding down Fire, it only fires around a two round burst (on average) instead. I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on why this is. I'm not saying I'd like some kind of fix for this, I know it's probably not worth it, but I'm just curious for your thoughts on it.
I'm really not sure what could cause that. Maybe an animation cycle issue? Anyways, I'm pretty sure this mod that just released does the exact same thing that mine. Maybe it does work with that weapon.
Yeah, oddly enough, the other mod seems to have done fixed my niche issue. Still, you are the originator here, so... idk lol It'd be weird to have two mods on the Nexus that seemingly do the exact same thing
Hey, don't know exactly what's causing it. probably a mod compat issue or the fact that i have a logitech mouse but for reasons unknown if i have this mod active it seem to disable the LMB the second i fire (cant even click in the pause menu) i don't think its something you can fix but just leaving this here incase someone else comes along with the same problem
Okay, so I'm testing the guns now. Here's a few oddities I've noticed.
bb gun and repeaters work but varmint rifle and 357 doesn't. marksman carbine fires a couple shots and then stops. service rifle doesn't work. I guess the issue isn't just for slow firing weapons. guns like to fire one additional shot at the end.
I'd say it works good for about 2/3 of the weapons that could benefit from it.
It will not work for the Varmint Rifle because it's too slow, it's odd that it doesn't work for the rest of those weapons as I did not have such issue. I'll check it out to see if I can find why
It might be. Did you picked the Trigger Discipline trait? This trait will cause a lot of guns to drop under the speed needed for the mod to work. Otherwise, do you have any weapon animation replacer?
No traits, using stock animations. I removed stewie tweaks and now the carbine works but the service rifle still doesn't, although it does fire 2 shots before stopping. There's no way I'm going through all those tweaks to find the problem.
