    The lore is that Rex is really old, he used to be a Pre-War police dog and was left behind to survive in Denver when the bombs dropped and has survived since then which explains his normal fur.

    Cool mod idea though.

      I think this mod is still lore-accurate. Nobody has been around to groom Rex's fur for 200 years until the legion showed up.
