interesting concept but slightly poorly done as it really should include events and back story from the unofficial "prequel" Fallout New California.
i mean yes you have to retcon the story slightly as the whole "super mutant / Project Brazil" thing is bad fanfic but if you take it from being a tribal kid found by vault dwellers that got betrayed by the Enclave then used (in every sense of the term) by the NCR and ending in Lonesome Road then it makes canonical sense and a slideshow would fit perfectly.
also if doing a TTW patch it should be changed so you are NOT from vault 101 but still from vault 18 (as in FNC) but are in the capital aka FO3 as a mercenary as there's a 10 year gap between the ending of FNC and the start of FNV plus being from vault 101 never made sense as you die without broken steel which we all know was a Beth back pedal for their bad fanfic level ending
"This is poorly done because you didn't include references to unofficial, not at all canon mods in your mod explicitly tagged to be lore-friendly." Do you not realize how absurd you sound?
the way i think of FNC is its a way of giving back story to The Courier with call backs to Fallout 1 and 2 but its true the "story" of FNC is a blatant retcon and bad fanfic
man, add a Lonesome Road sign bellow the ''Fallout: New Vegas'' just like how they do on the DLC slideshow intros. and you have a cool as hell intro for that that DLC
personally i always consider the story to start with FNC leading to TTW (without being from vault 101 or dying at the end) going through events in FNV with the optional branching side story's of Honest Hearts and OWB and ending with Lonesome Road. Dead Money should only be considered if using the nexus mod Dust as otherwise it dosnt fit the timeline
The transition between scenes is too sudden. Can you use fade effect or something? Even half a sec transition should be better than the sudden change right now.
The voice acting is not sufficient. I dont know, not enough timbre or something. I am not a specialist in voice/aural quality, but I do know it lack something. IF you cant upgrade it (which is a big project, I know) at the very least increase the sound level and audio quality.
And if you guys ever want to do another slideshow, remember the scene of lonesome courier walking on top of highway with the sun ahead? Yeah, sun position is No Go. A big no no because you are walking toward the light source and it show directly toward camera POV. It ruins perception of other details. AT least let the sun on left side, or right side and the light rays reflect off the edge of character figure and illuminate the details~
I second the other comments. The original FNV intro is too awesome to replace, but given that Lonesome Road is the only DLC without an intro movie, this would be absolutely perfect. Brooding and atmospheric, it sets the tone perfectly for the story Lonesome Road.

This is just a working concept though. I’m hoping someone else will take this idea and run with it. Maybe that could be you :)
