They aren't meant to be used together. They cover different scenarios. So use this one if you want to destroy the Securitron vault, use Truce if you don't want to destroy the vault and want Mr. House to aid in the battle of Hoover Dam.
I'm aware not being able to talk to Mr. House is a vanilla script for when you destroy the vault, and the quest "The House is under new management" activates and puts the marker in front of his big screen. But if I'm not able to talk to him how do I get him to surrender? Apologies if this question has been answered I'm quite dense.
edit: ignore this entire post, i am far more stupid than i first admitted
With this mod active, if I've advanced enough in the House quest line to have upgraded the securitron army, then work for the NCR until I get Col Moore's quest to "take House out of the picture", can I re-enter the Securitron bunker to destroy it? Because in vanilla I can only enter the bunker once.
Have you any ideas around a truce between the Khans, The Followers, the Locals, the Gamblers and the Jane Securitrons? Will be very pleased with a solution unless you find that a totally dumb truce. I wish you the best. fredlaus among friends !::!
I don't follow !::! Edit: I solved the situation myself. I put all involved parts in a new faction of allies - makes them happy and not killing each other - for a while I hope
Does this restore any of the cut dialogue from NPCs commenting on House "selling out" to the NCR? Also, does this mod or your similarly made "House and NCR Truce" mod impact the ending slideshow at all?
The dialogue does actually play in vanilla. You have to destroy the Securitron vault without killing Mr. House. But most people will never hear the dialogue because they'll kill House before ever having a chance to hear it. But yes you will hear the dialogue with my mod. And no it doesn't affect the ending slideshow.
Hey, I'm just curious here. Would this mod prevent Arcade Gannon's companion quest from triggering? I regularly travel with him, and know that "For Auld Lang Syne" triggers after you report to Colonel Moore and tell her that Mr. House has been dealt with. I'd prefer not to lose Arcade's character development if possible.
I don't think it would. Try revisiting some places with him like Repconn HQ, Silver Rush, and the crashed Vertibird. That might get his quest to trigger.
This is basically the NCR counterpart to "Brotherhood / House Truce". Quintessential mods for players who don't like Obsidian forcing them to murder to progress their preferred quest line. Which of course all four lines do, including Yes Man's. Nice to have more options, especially anything that ties into vanilla what-ifs.
There is cut content where Mr. House surrenders to the NCR in exchange for becoming Governor of Nevada if you destroy the securitron army under the Fort.
Which dialogue? NPCs talking about House surrendering, or not being able to talk to House? House is technically scripted in vanilla to prevent you from talking to him if you blow up the securitron vault. And NPCs commenting on House surrendering to the NCR is played at random.

<*EDIT: excessive exposition excised.>
As simple as a single speech check or as complex as a series of quests.
