I think this is a neat mod! Is there any way to disable the sexuality perk change though? I'm not sure how that would work with some of my other mods, but other changes (Action Adept and Plasmaniac) are great!
You need to change the name of "Cherchez La Femme" because "la femme" means "the woman" in French which isn't exactly inclusive. Maybe change it to something like "Cherchez La Personne"
Femme means feminine which does include femme non binary people whilst recognising how lesbian this is, learn nuance before pretending to be a leftist.
You think you're going to teach me my own language? Femme is a French word. Some American liberals took the word and changed its actual meaning but it's still a French word that means "female" and nothing else.
Words change over time, you might not like it, but linguistic prescriptivism is authoritarian and doesn't make sense in our evolving world. Also my french girlfriend can love me a non-binary plural system so checkmate.
You don't get to change the meaning of a French word if you aren't French, I'm afraid. Stealing our word was already a terrifying case of cultural appropriation in the first place.
France has colonies and participates in the same genocides as America, Australia, Britain, Canada etc. please don't claim this is cultural appropriation or that your old language staying the same is more important than trans people.

That's an oversimplification of how slurs work. It's not a simple binary flag upon each word. Take the G slur for Romani as an example. In most American contexts, the word is used under the presumption that is their actual name, whereas in Europe the term is frequently chosen specifically for racist reasons. This is due to the different contextual histories regarding the oppression of the group on that continent and another continent an ocean away. A similar but not identical thing happened with the word "Indian" for Native Americans. Slurs are contextually relevant. Words can become slurs, and slurs can become words, because language evolves. The goal is just to try our best and be kind.
