I'm slightly stuck here, so I have the requirements downloaded, and all that seems to get the game to load up fine, but like a comment below my in-game menu (When starting) won't show up.
Is there something I missed and can do? Because the mod looks great and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a fix that's been mentioned that I have just missed lol.
Either way even if I can't enjoy the mod just yet, it looks awesome
I want to give this mod a go to see what it provides.
I can already tell I'll enjoy the new content expansion when it comes to your dad, gob and others, but I'm cautious after reading some comments that your character becomes somewhat of an asshole or self pretentious. (Part of me feels like that was more on their error than on the mod's)
I already started my game and have completed a few side quests and managed to reach the main story part where I have to meet doctor LI. Is it okay for me to install it at this point and not miss too much.
I also wanted to ask if the new dialogue prompts drastically change the character. I'm going as a Very good character from the vault and would like to keep the more 'boy scout' (Kind) responses. Will I still be able to do this like in Vanilla Fallout or does this mod drastically change what my character will say?
Well, since I don't want to come off as arrogant about it, I even went and asked various people about it. So far, all of them told me, the new dialogues are an improvement and aren't pretentious at all.
You can still be a goody-two-shoes, since the dialogues aren't really rewritten in "meaning" but in "wording". So you sound less like a fool (even if you're 19) but still kind, if you want to be.
I kinda don't like how Moira isn't leaning into SPECIAL stats for your opinion in some of options and from what I see - it has perk check when you first speak to her, which in this stage of the game you shouldn't have this high.
On smaller note how is getting 500 caps and disarming nuke in Megaton will give you infamy instead of fame since you've made the city, well, safer?
Wait, that's not possible, unless the new TTW update messed something up in combination with this mod - then I'll have to fix that. It's not intended to remove Moira's reactions to your SPECIAL Stats.
That is due to how the TTW Reputations mod set it up, if that's the case, sooo ... I could tweak it though in the future.
I've completed majority of Wasteland Survival Guide - it's only in some early portions, like with gaining radiation I didn't had an option to respond with 7+ Intelligence response. There was another, but I don't remember which also didn't had SPECIAL dialogue, sorry if it isn't helpful.
Also on another note - how come Dracula line on Vance makes him upset that you didn't understood him, considering you are implying that he is indeed a pseudo-vampire? Would've made sense to make response as you were said that Family are vampires.
I just want to make sure I understand correctly. This mod is effectively a continuation of The Lone Courier's Dialogue and its subsequent update correct? This includes everything those have as well as some new stuff too? I am about to restart a playthrough where i start in the mojave as though I am picking up where I left off on my original character. (I 100%ed the DC wasteland but it was 110 hours in on the save and it was starting to get pretty unstable). Will it work that way where it recognizes it as though I had a DC start?
Yes and no. It does continue the goals of those mods, however it tries to be a bit more subtle with it. A lot of the dialogues were removed and changed here because it felt a bit "forced" (still appreciate the mod a lot, used it for a long time). It will work, yep, as the dialogues and references should remain, at least most of them (only a few have specific requirements).

But please, let me know how you feel about it!
Update causes a stuck-screen when loading the game, no main menu. Had to resort to older version

iirc he does think you misunderstood what the Family is about, if you tell him they're vampires, no? I'll check it again though, thanks.
