this is nonsense. on the strip itself you hear nothing as there are no sound markers, and in freeside it sounds like all vegas is on the other side, then you enter and nothing, lol. got to fix your mod man it's whack.
Can't believe I didn't catch this one during one of my "browsing the most recently updated" tirades around Nexus. Wonderful work, mate. Very happy that this idea got a release!
Is this just a static sound file that plays on loop, or does it actually account for certain things i.e., the in-game time, where you would expect the sounds of partying etc to crescendo around midnight-1am and then slowly peter off until 4am or so when everyone comes home and then it's more or less dead quiet except for a handful of sounds?
I live in NYC myself, so being this close to a big city and hearing basically nothing is jarring, but so would hearing the same handful of sounds on a loop over and over.
Can you make a mod that adds random gunshots ambient to Freeside? To make it feel more lawless and similar to New Reno from Fallout 2: https://youtu.be/gETgNHNFaxs?t=160
Love the mod, definitely an immersion must-have. Highly endorse. If you don't mind me asking, which Freeside mod(s) are being utilized in the showcase video?

If it's really that hard to understand, you will hear "party" sounds coming from the strip when near the locations listed in the description.
