Don't lobotomites also level with the player? I've been one-shotted from across the map I don't know how many times and to make matters worse, the spawning script is broken or something in OWB, so they will literally spawn out of thin air.
Yeah I run in to the same respawn issue too. Sadly I ain't good enough to fix that. Lobotomites have levels, but with the way I made a different mod, they all turn out to about 11 health, due to me disabling health per level for npcs. I had to increase that just a bit, but they spawn with powerful weapons such as the brush gun, trail carbine, hunting rifle, and hunting shotgun, all capable of one shots with low health if your armor isn't good enough. At lower levels, I'm pretty sure they spawn with inferior equipment.
Ah, that is unfortunate but understandable. I was never able to figure out why this is the case in XEdit, but they seem to also be incredibly accurate with whatever firearm they use and I'm not sure if it's a perk or what.. Like, they will snipe me with pistols or smgs (Within the first shot); it's weird.
Anything that lowers the health of the player and npcs. I dont like high damage mods because they make armor useless because of how the DT system works. So I made my own low health mod just the way I wanted it. I think there's a few floating around the nexus, but let me know if you can't find anything you like. They don't take long to make.
use fnvedit to add DR & DT to armors, standardize damage for all weps based on caliber and barrel length, JSawyer x3.5 damage multiplier across the board, NPCs miss (medium). easy breezy ''''''realism''''''. good armor protects you a fair amount AND time to kill decreased to FUN plausible levels on all types of targets- most especially the player!
