Absolutely need to have EmptyWeapons.esp activated, both because it's a master, and because it contains the quest. My fix only replaces the script, not the quest ( that is used by said script ).
Edit: Also need to have my esp activated, otherwise the script won't be replaced, obviously. The script is compiled into the .esp

EmptyWeapons.esp = The mod that makes the slide stay open ( required mod ). EmptyWeapons-fix.esp = This mod, which fixes a bug that happens if you switch between empty weapons repeatedly ( see video tab ).
You can merge EmptyWeapons-fix.esp into EmptyWeapons.esp if you know what you're doing, I deliberately made this fix depend on EmptyWeapons because of permission issues. Again, this mod and script, for all intents and purposes, is not made by me, I only fixed a slight logic error within it, which is why this mod requires EmptyWeapons.esp to be loaded and activated.
