Love the armor mod but I am having trouble finding the cheat chest outside the Vault 101 entry door. It does not seem to appear in the space you described. Does load order make a difference (could it be overwritten by another mod)?
as far as I understand ive put the mod in correctly but...i dont think its actually in the game? some reason im unable to actively find it even using the cheat version
So, i absolutely love this. It looks fantastic and comes together really nicely. And i will admit that i've tweaked the Stats and Effects to suit my Character, but that's entirely down to my own Preferences.
My only minor issue with it is that there's a weird Mesh issue in 1st person where there's a small gap between the Forearm and the Wrists. Made only slightly more noticeable by my Melee/Unarmed Character. It's not game-breaking, but it is very stand-out-ish when using any Unarmed or Melee Weapon that has your within your FOV.
You can actually do this technically without downloading any extra files. Try this: Download both the main file and NV file MANUALLY from the files tab. Create a new folder on your desktop and extract the Main file into it. Now with the NV file, you'll want to extract (and override the main file) The Lone Wanderer.esp. You'll also want to extract from the meshes folder: TLWmounted2.nif and TLWnotmounted.nif and TLWDirty21.dds and TLWFem21.dds from the Textures folder. Place these meshes and textures in your Desktop folder alongside the Main file stuff. Right-click the new folder and "send to Compressed (zipped) Folder." And voila! You have a NV armor mod that will have the Vault 101 textures.
I've actually done something similar to this to make it use the textures from the Adamowicz Vault Suits mod, which makes this legendary work of yours look even better imo!
Haven't tested it yet, but here is a patch that (in theory) should work. It only works for the New Vegas version of this mod for the time being, since I don't have access to my TTW build (I have it installed on a separate computer.) And you'll need the Weapon and Armor Repair - Improved version 1.1 file from that mod's page. Anyways, here it is.
Hi! Sorry, I'm afraid I don't have the skills really to make a texture edit like that. I looked into it, and erasing the existing vault numbers/overriding with the legion symbol involves a lot of texture work that would look blurry or ugly for my own standards. If you want to give it a try yourself, I personally use paint.net for all texture editing.

Awesome Armor, really fits the the theme of the Lone Wanderer wandering in the Mojave Deserts
