You did an awesome and amazing job with this anim set. I've always found old one shot rifles more satisfying to use compared to modern or automatic guns. It makes my shots all the more satisfying when they hit and the gunshot sound is a perfect touch.
Also I was about to report a small bug with the Tang sight weapon mod that keeps clipping or rather disappearing while shooting in ADS but I first tried fixing it by checking the settings in FOV slider mod (by RoyBatterian) with MMC and I just set the Near Distance Clipping to 2 and its fixed. Still Im not sure if it will do the same without the FOV slider mod. Just a heads up in case someone else reports it as a bug and you can try telling them to do the same thing I did if they have FOV slider installed

Would it be possible to adapt this animation to work correctly with this mod (Farquharson Rifle .600 NE): https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54977 The weapon is mechanically mostly identical to this one and is reloaded in the same way as it seems.
I tried to edit the json file to point to this plugin and the animation kinda/sorta works: the loading gate lowers and rises correctly and the player inserts a new round, but the old casing is not ejected and the new round is not aligned with the chamber at first and slowly floats up to align with it... Would it be possible to do some adjustments to the animation or would that mean significant effort, as the weapon itself would need to be edited as well? I'm guessing it is very likely that this needs to be done...

Need help, the thing still does that cocking animation, and I've tried nuking all of my animation mods, didn't work, still persisted this time; even uglier (vanilla animations). My character also does not use the proper reload animation, send help.
Honestly, I have no idea what it is, maybe some installation problem, "the thing still does that cocking animation", I don't know if I understood that sentence correctly, maybe if I had a video I could have some idea.
Damn this is amazing, love the single reload unique anim for this old ancient mod I used back then haha but, can you make the reload.esp file into main. esp file as one .esp? Just to lessen the burden of people with heavy modded game like myself lol
I've lost access to my files now, but as I recall you just need to open the original .esp with fnvedit and change the reload type that the weapon uses (in the reload animation and reload animation - mod line), save.
