Using this on a current TTW playthrough and loving it. Deserving of a place within sals texture guide, would someone be able to tell me the vehicle texture mod used in the images?

It's a private mod that is not going to ever be public unless the author says so or uploads it themselves

Hey, trying to use this with TTW. but i have this strange bug with rock textures. they look unfinished with huge plain empty gaps between bits of rock.

i have spent hours figuring out that it is coming from this mod, and no amount of me rooting around in the files works. i even deleted the mesh related to that rock type in the hope the vanilla texture would pop back on it. but nothing. and the console commands do not direct me at all to what texture it actually is

I have heard of this issue but haven't been around to fix it or look into it but I believe spiffy has a file in legacy reborn that fixes it I can also recommend to just remove all meshes from mine and just use what's in legacy reborn

I had the same issue. I solved it by checking Automatic Archive Invalidation in MO2 profile.

You can solve this by using archive invalidation

If that doesn't work, make sure your fallout ini isn't set to read only as archive invalidation must be activated with a line of values in the ini file under [Archive]

    Good day!

Lovin' the textures, just wanted to make sure if my LOD stuff is correct (kinda feel it's not).

I use NMC Medium and Ojo Bueno High as base.
I already deleted the textures/landscape/lod folder from NMC. Followed VNV Lod guide.

The mods in Viva new vegas' guide seem to overwrite the lod files from here. Noticed that Red rock canyon's LOD doesn't really match the rock colours.
Tried getting the lod files from this mod to win by putting this below the other lod mods, but got gray rocks instead.

    Some screenshots here:

Should I let the lod mods from the guide overwrite this?

My road textures won't install. All of the other textures are present and working, but my roads are the vanilla textures.

Does anyone know why this is?

    linky link

Hey man. Firstly, really like your textures. They're wonderful. I just want to run this by you, have you seen anything like this? I'm completely at a loss here, and btw absolutely not saying it's your texture pack causing the issue lol. It looks like LOD textures? Honestly really have no idea, just wanted to see if it's something you've seen before. Appreciate your mods regardless though.

Figured it out! Had nothing to do with this mod which lol.

Im using this mod with NMC's, the automatic archive invalidation is ticked and nut vegas is under the NMC's texture pack, but the road textures are the default ones. Is there a way to fix it?

In vortex this mod is useless cause NMC is ESP based and will always overwrite it....

Firstly, do not use Vortex because it's made by the devil and no one should use it over MO2. Secondly, NMC does not have a plugin. Thirdly, even if NMC had a plugin and an archive the loose files from this mod would take precedence over it.

No, NMC does not have an esp so whatever OP was waffling about isnt true. You can use this mod to overwrite NMC landscapes textures if you prefer nut vegas landscapes.

Textures mods can always overwrite others mods in Vortex, even those who got an esp. Just be sure to do some Archive Invalidation when you add or remove textures, and have a correct load order.

Your LOD looks fantastic in your screenshots, my game's distance LOD always looks like the mountain is red, is it caused by using too many LOD resources? what are the LOD resources do you use to generate the perfect lod in your screenshot, I'm too dumb to figure it out

You can see that in my screenshots, the rock color inside the red circle is significantly different as well as the landscape color inside the blue circle :)

Yeah, cuz that's NMCs LODs or Vanilla's not mine. What you should do and this is what I do on my end since I like to run NMC as a base is to remove the LOD folder in the landscape portion and regenerate your LODs

and if you are still struggling VNV (Viva New Vegas) is still an amazing tool to help learn modding on NV. LOD Guide | Viva New Vegas (moddinglinked.com)

First off, love the mod. Thank you.

After deleting the lod folder for landscapes in NMC, do we then not need the "Much Needed LOD - NMC Patch" and "NMC LOD Patch" from LOD Texture Patches?

And should all the LOD mods be loaded after your mod? Very confused on the load order as there's so many overwrites going on in MO2 lol

you shouldn't need the NMC patches no, and LOD stuff should usually be at the bottom of your load order.
