Hey everyone, just an update on TTEx and the future (or possible lack thereof)
I've been going through some rough IRL struggles recently and modding has taken a back seat for me at the time. I've lost some people who were very near and dear to me, had a major change in financial situation, and have had to relocate as a result. As of now, future development is suspended. I may come back to it at some point, but I have other priorities in my life right now and can't guarantee any future updates.
Permissions for this mod are fairly open, so if you'd like to take my work and expand on it, please feel free. If you need to contact me for any permissions not explicitly given, the easiest way to do so would be on Discord, my user name there is the same as it is here. Mention this mod so I don't assume you're a spammer. Thanks.
With all that said, Version 3.1.0 is mostly complete and I will be releasing it shortly as a preview/unsupported update, as I've not been able to thoroughly test it myself. 3.1 adds a new alt-fire menu which bypasses the need for all the Sneak mode nonsense, which has been an issue for several players.
Version 3.1 is now available as an unsupported preview build; you can find it on the mods download page under Optional Files. I played with this for some time and didn't run into any major issues, but your mileage may vary, works on my computerâ„¢, etc. Use at your own risk.
Thanks everyone for the support and hopefully I'll be back with an official 3.1 build and more in the future.
Probably something that is completely impossible to make. But since I'm ignorant in this area I just gonna mention it because it could be awesome.
It would be awesome if the pip-boy map popped up when you try choose a location, like when you normal fast travel, instead of the menu. Because some locations can be hard to remember names of, and you often just look where they are on the map, if you want to travel.
Anyway nice mod, I've been using the old version, all the way back from TTW 2.4, and it's nice to see it be updated with more features. Makes traveling from NV to DC vice-versa much less of a hassle.
Firstly, I'm sorry to hear how life is going, oddly enough I know almost exactly what you're going through (lost several friends and family members who were dear to me over the last couple of years and have had financial troubles just as long). Secondly I'm going to post another message if things decide to go screwball on me, but I'm in a play-through where I installed the mod AFTER finishing OWB and either it's decided to work without fuss, you figured out a way to make it work, or it's going to have a foul up and stumble worse than a fat pidgeon after a few too many drinks. No matter what, I'm impressed with how smooth this is and if it goes haywire I'm just going to chock it up as a case of "User Error".
This is such a great mod to add more practicality to the transportalponder, sorry to hear about your struggles your talent definently shouldnt go unrewarded, Thanks for this mod !
Is there any updates on the Non-TTW version, or have you decided not to make a non-ttw version. Case this mod is great extention of the transponder, and not just a fork of a regularmod, e.g. it actually has unique content, and functionality compared to all the other mods, and possibly vanilla. However since I am a vanilla vegas player, and don't wish to download a whole tale of two wastelands mod(which breaks certain vanilla mods/functions) just for the purposes of a upgraded transponder. I like to request a conversion of the mod if you feel it nessacery, or allow your community to help make you a new vegas/non-ttw version.
Unfortunately I'm suspending development on this mod (see the new sticky), but if time permits I'll try to get a standalone version out sooner rather than later. No guarantees, though.
The description page mentions compatibility issues could arise with Ghost people edits. Would this include mods that just help with sneaking past them?
I couldn't tell you for sure without looking at the mod itself. You can check for yourself in xEdit by opening up the mod and looking to see if it overrides NVDLC01GhostSCRIPT. If it does then chances are they're not compatible.
3.1 has been in testing for awhile, and I'm hoping to release it within the next month or so. For info on what's in this release and what's planned for future releases, check the mod description.

I know it's a little cliché but may the Lord bless you, life might be hard right now but keep him on your mind and in your sight, it can make the hard times a little easier to bear.
