This mod would be perfect but having a minor issue. I try and turn on the creatures only option in MCM but each time I reload my game it turns it off. Any help would be appreciated.
Indeed, the "creatures only" option will be reset to 0 each time the game is launched or a save is loaded. The issue will be fixed in next update. Thanks for the report.
EDIT 05/05/2024: The issue has been fixed in v1.20.3.
Yes, all factions from TTW are covered by the mod. Basically, all the leveled-spawns from any mod will get additional spawns. Then the mod tries very hard not to give duplicates to important NPCs, such as unique NPCs, leaders of a pack, merchants and NPCs with certain AI packages.
This mod is much better than use More Spawn or other extra spawns mod. The reason being those mods' provided esm and esp has some disparity with current 332 system due to massive changes from 322 (when it's created) to 332. And the script running to create esm doesnt always ensure the files created to follow TTW standard, so we would need to change hand by hand... which defeat the point.
In short, use Larger pack mod instead of Morespawn or IWS in TTW332 sessions.
My suggestion is purely in term of utility: fast, and no need to mess with it. LS can work with slew of other mods adding in without further meddling. Like if you install Claim the Capital you can have a bunch of NPC adding in.
Of course, there is a time when you dont get satisfaction from a bunch of new generic spawns though. You will need harder, tougher, and more variety. That's when messing with Morespawn esm can help
I'm using this in tandem with the option Max Level Difference from Misc. Gamesetting Tweaks that allows lower tier mobs to keep spawning even when you're high level and the overall effect is great.
That sounds great. When you play TTW, it's not very fun to face super-tanky Albino Radscorpions all the time once your character gets to LV25 or so. And with Larger Packs, your character levels up pretty quickly. I think I'll give it a try, too. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi, I want to first say I love this mod. I'm currently facing a weird issue, most likely an error from myself. When I move around, copies of my player character spawn sometimes. Not sure if its probably something to do with my mod list, but never had such an issue before.
Probably you have a mod in your setup that makes a copy of the player and place it in somewhere in the current cell for some reason. Try Larger Packs' Incompatible Mod filter. The mods listed on this filter are entirely ignored by Larger Packs, so no additional spawns for any of the actors from these mods. The filter file is "config\Larger Packs Filters\Incompatible Mods.ini". You need to edit it manually, using a text-editor.
Thank you, your solution worked, but then found out that enemies and NPCs were spawning way too fast anyway, ignoring the INI settings,. I realized then that I had some game engine problems before and they were related due to setting some incorrect values in NVTF INI.
It's very easy to break this game with even one misplaced thing. If you feel you are a bit lost, try a modding guide, called Viva New Vegas. It contains valuable information on modding this game.
Go to "Extra settings" on MCM and set all but Feral Ghouls' "per actor-type modifiers" to 0. Currently there is a bug that prevents the spawner script updating some of the setting values so you might need to restart the game in order the changes to take effect.
EDIT 05/01/2023: The bug has been fixed in v1.18.1, so the changes to modifiers take effect immediately.
Just a shout-out to hands-down, one of the absolute best mods on nexusmods for FNV. This adds so much to the game, it's really unimaginable to play without it.
Thanks for creating this, and it's really appreciated how much you update and improve this. Just a brilliant example of what a good mod can be.

Can you make it so spawned hostiles will be level modifier of 2 or 3? At certain time we just want for harder spawns, not just more.
This can be done in a separate file, so let's say at level 30, some players will want to fight harder spawns with their surplus weaponry.
Thanks for the input.
