15 Aug 2022 v 1.46 ESM re-flagged update to reflect minor changes made by TTW 3.3.2 - new game NOT required. Thank you Giveth for the video "Good Thing I Wore My Brown Pants"
3 May 2024 V 1.50 uploaded. This update to TTW 3.3.2a removes ITMs mentioned by GRUmod and a couple of minor fixes. No new game required.
The only way to find out if v 1.50 is backwards compatible with TTW 3.3.2 is to try it out. If you don't encounter problems on loading up your game with this mod's v 1.50 you should be fine. The only difference is that the metro carriage door giving you a shortcut to the Ant Queen's Lair will probably still be accessible if you have a save file in which you've already been in Marigold Stn . A mote point if you've already completed the related quest.
This mod is a great addition. Even on a heavily modded TTW setup, it has no issues, and almost no conflicts except for (Rebuild the Capital) that i could find. (Even then, they seem largely inconsequential..?)
There are however a large number of ITM (Identical to Master) records - But these are relatively inconsequential and won't cause any actual issues.
Overall, a great world-space mod, highly recommend this one.
Mods like these are just a good addition's to the main game!
But I gotta ask why exactly is MO2 in the required mods category for this one? As someone who recently installed TTW and actually uses MO2 for everything mod related, I don't actually remember having it be a requirement for TTW!
MO2 is required for the TTW 3.3 install itself. The installer will shut down if one tries to install the mod directly to FNV's Data folder. Required me learning how to use MO2 since I'm a keen advocate of manual installs. Or I was ... until I discovered how wonderful it is to use MO2.
MO2 isn't a hard requirement and it's possible to use the installer to compile the 3.3 TTW MOD files outside of the data folder to be installed into the data folder like any other mod In the TTW installer when selecting paths, select fallout 3, then select fallout NV, then instead of selecting your data folder for it to install to. Just create a temporary folder I install all my mods manually an still use FOMM just as a plugin activator/ load order manager, which I haven't experienced any issues with, despite the fact I've read about FOMM being outdated
Thank you ilyasw. Another manual modder here (since the 1980s). I've never met a mod manager that I liked - EVER (at least for the way I play and mod my games) - and like you I only used FOMM for FO3/FNV activation (and thankfully FO4 doesn't even need that, it's super-easy to do manually). The ONLY problems I ever get with any modding are:- 1) Mods wherein the modder only provides a manager packaged mod that I have to unpick if I really want it. 2) Having to sieve through mods, tweaking advice and install instructions, that almost always only ever relate to the Steam versions of games when I use GOG versions for which many under-the-hood things have already been tweaked/fixed. And when I do find inclusion of consideration of the GOG version it's often wrong (and I always try to point this out to whoever provided the info). 3) The sadly nasty/fascist attitudes and potty-mouthed language of all too many whatever-mod-manager adherents. If it works for them, fine, it works for them - but their way doesn't work best for me. And no, I'm not a fool (or whatever worse words many of them sling at me) and I'm not making life difficult for myself, I find it easier & better to do it my way. Anyways, thanks.
Actually streetyson it is a matter of public record that you are clueless about the differences between the GOG and Steam versions, which are extremely minimal. Aside from the obvious lack of DRM, pretty much the only "fix already included" is an outdated 4GB patch that should be replaced with the newer one anyway, since the latter automatically loads xNVSE. Everything else you believe is unique or special about the GOG version is just made up, by you. Thanks for letting us read your blog but nobody should be manually installing mods in 2022
@Glory - it is not a matter of public record. And there are often GOG minutiae that steamheads are ignorant of, though I don't keep a running commentary of what & where changes exist - they are snpshots in time of situational differences at points int time between my GOG install experience and the steamhead ignorance claiming to universally relate to GOG. I found a bunch more differences under the hood than the 4gb patcher. I don't just fire off nonsenes like some - I am an older gamer and former publisher of mods (a couple of decades ago) and merely report my experiences where I see general/universal advice given doesn't match my actual experience and thus could be useful info for others. You are free to ignore it - but don't just lazily disparage it. And you are clearly clueless about manual modding (most folk like you are). And you are clearly acting just like one of those I complain of in my post above. Ooh, I must have hit a nerve - ever so sorry old boy. But thanks for reading - you should do it more often.
Actually this is untrue, MO2 is NOT required. I have TTW 3.3.1 installed manually and it works just fine. Using Vortex for all my other mods, including this one, and it all works just fine.
The above comment is misleading because it lacking a strong conditional, a second part to that.
"But install and play TTW manually without any mod manager would be a huge feat accomplished only by long time tinkerers with mods. Anyone attempt such thing would be assumed a highly accomplished tinker and thus doesnt need to ask anyone question or help regarding this matter."
So yeah, noobs need not applied. And if you attempt yourself, be a man with pride and dont ask for help when you meet troubles.
Remember when modding was fun and not some kind of slavic ritual of comparing dick sizes? Remember when every other post on Nexus wasn't followed with 'based' and/or 'ratioed'?
*laughs* you are all fools the true power is using vorjac2 for your mods the power of Vortex Mo2 and Wabbajack in one the game looks like it was just released and plays with no frame drops no crashes i could summon a thousand behemoths and the game will laugh and continue on like there is nothing
Relying on your memory and trying to figure out what mod is causing flickering textures is really fun with manually installed mods. Install some texture pack the night before, forget the mesh files after deleting or replacing some textures. Not a fun experience. Using MO2 is nice because you're not constantly transferring and deleting texture packs off your drive preventing repeat write cycles prolonging the life of your drives. I was a manual installer now I use MO2 but sort my own load order.
Wabbajack is for noobs. I make my own mod lists and patch the mods to work better than they did by the author and pack them myself and store them on a drive because mods are always being deleted.
To deejt I understand where you're coming from. I've always installed my mods manually before coming across TTW 3. And even though I now enjoy the freedom that MO2 provides in resolving conflicts where mods that include textures and meshes overlap I make sure to download 2 copies of each mod I want to test/use. The 2nd (manual download) is a backup in case a mod is removed from the site I first downloaded it from. Kudos - your first - may you have many more.
Great mod. I'd consider it essential. Be careful with the metro cars in Greyditch though, it's possible to sequence break Those! and mess up the quest.
I've spent hours with this great mod. I keep forgetting to check the top racks inside the trains. If only the windows of the trains were better. But thats a game deal and nothing to do with this mod.
Its a shame its not compatible with TTW 3.2. Basically with this mod installed most floors in the game doesnt have any collision. As I said, its a shame because TTW 3.3 breaks every single mod that is out there and its logically not economical to sacrifice 200 mods over this single one.
Would have done the update sooner except that a power outage managed to get through my computer's power surge protector and render the computer inoperable - so had to rebuild the system.

Re: the top racks. In most games I play (and in real life) I tend to forget the advice given to Pilgrim in "Paradise Lost" ... "Look up".
By the way, plugin doesn't sort along with ESM files anymore, and now behaves like a standard ESP.
Is it expected?
Had temporarily removed ESM flag and forgotten to re-add it. ESM flagged update v 1.46 now uploaded. Kudos for pointing this out.
