i wonder if someone could script in a chance for each option to detonate the bomb, based on player skill, especially for the people who use gameplays that rely on luck.
Luck 9 certainly would make more sense for disarming a nuke, but Bethesda clearly wanted players to be able to disarm the nuke early in the game and I want to keep it that way.
you could make a hardcore version with high skill requirments to please everyone, i myself like it harder so that it both makes sense it hasnt been defused yet and so that the player is much more of a hobo in the early game
It's been a while since I've actually played this quest, but it should say "fuse," not "fuze," unless it's specifically referred to in-game as a "fuze" (again, can't remember if it is or not).
Not trying to be a dick about it. This mod looks cool, and I love the idea, and I'm definitely going to use it when I play TTW next. Just thought I'd point out the minor spelling error. :)
Well, how about that. I guess I should have looked into it before I posted, but I never would have guessed there was a separate spelling for different types of explosives. Wild.
This is kind of a cool idea. I always shared a similar thought that putting skill points into explosives even if I was playing a melee character just so I can diffuse the bomb was kinda silly. This mod at least gives more options. Excellent simple mod. As for Timebomb in Big Town, maybe you could use the Science skill to replace his injured parts (wounds?) with a makeshift robotic equivalent. Like for example, say he suffered severe internal bleeding in his stomach so you replace it with a makeshift stomach made with a sensor module and two scrap metal. Obviously doesn't make perfect sense, but it would be kinda cool to have something along those lines.
