A mod featured in the screenshots is Vanilla Hud Cleaned. While not required, it's highly recommended as it makes the bars look like they fit better where they're placed.
I've always had a bit of trouble reading the health ticks in Fallout 3/NV. It's hard for me to see the difference in an enemy health bar or my own when a tick is missing unless I'm actively keeping my eyes on it at all times, but I think it's more important to keep your eyes on the enemy. With this, it's much easier to absorb information at a glance than before.
Inspired by Fallout 4 (and mods that aim to replicate its HUD like IFO4HUD and HUD Like Fallout 4 (NV)), this mod replaces the health ticks with a solid image so they appear as bars instead. However, this is not an extensive UI mod, rather it replaces a single texture to get this effect. Therefore, it should be compatible with most vanilla-centric UI mods, as long as you install this afterwards.
Compatible with:
-Vanilla UI Plus (VUI+)
-Radiation (is) Actually Dangerous
-DarNified UI (DarnUI) (though there's apparently a built-in option)
Just remember to install this mod after any extensive UI mods, like the ones above, otherwise they might overwrite the texture this mod replaces.
